Not only did he meet me at locations all across the metro, he promptly answered emails and phone calls, was patient when I asked to see additional properties, and followed up with listing agents and property management staff when I had questions. It had been 20 years since we last moved, the experience was totally different than what we expected. You meet you realtor face-to-face during the initial meeting and you never see them again. All communication is done through email and text. You deal with multiple people (realtor assistants, staging assistants, finance) that introduce themselves in the initial email they send, and ask for personal information, documents, etc. Everyone we dealt with was very nice and patient and helped make the process go smoothly. We consider ourselves lucky, we didn't list until late August and had a purchase agreement by end of September. In fact it went so fast we didn't have time to find a place to purchase before the market stalled and are enjoying a few months of apartment living while we wait for things to pick-up again.
