Answer: Jon Caruana is worth every penny. We met Jon when he represented the seller on our initial purchase of this property. We were immediately struck by his professionalism and easy-going demeanor. I kept his name and contact information and kept in touch with him throughout the years that we owned the property. I closely watch the real estate market as a hobby and he was happy to keep me informed of the market conditions whenever I asked. Ultimately, we used Jon to purchase a new home and again when we sold our old home. On our purchase, Jon helped negotiate a good deal for us. We had told him upfront that we wanted to avoid bidding wars. In my opinion, they most often result in over paying. We also told him that since we already owned a home in the area, we could be flexible with respect to terms, closing dates and possible lease backs. Based on that information, Jon was able to structure an offer that worked for the sellers. It also helped us purchase the home at a good value. With respect to the sale of our home, Jon helped secure an offer that exceeded our expectations. Because of extremely low inventory, he had suggested we could be aggressive with our listing price and that made a huge difference. Jon has been instrumental in guiding us through the process of buying and selling these homes. With his knowledge and experience, we have the utmost confidence in Jon. We particularly like the way he calls/meets with us to explain (in layman terms) what document we are being asked to sign and the implications of each within the closing process.
