ZillowVERIFIED Wow. Where to start. We lived in West Hollywood, CA and bought a property in Youngstown, NY: 2600 miles away. John was amazing at understanding our needs and helping us meet them. One of his many strengths was his ability to help us solve problems and allay each and every one of our concerns. We were worried about being retirees and having 3 mortgages with this purchase and hooked us up with a mortgage broker (Premium Mortgage) who had our problem solved, and mortgage loan approved in 2 days. Because we were on the other side of the country, he helped by doing video walkthroughs for us that were so complete we felt like we were there and had seen each property. When we finally did our own actual walkthroughs, there were no surprises because John had already pointed out actual and potential problem area that we felt like we had seen this all before. My husband and I bought this as a gay couple and John made us feel very comfortable and relaxed and we never felt any bit of discrimination towards us at all, and he was a professional in every way. Every actual and potential problem that arose, John was already on top of it and had solution options for us. He made this entire cross-country move/purchase so smooth and easy we were always in awe. He answered and returned all phone calls/texts/emails in an extremely timely manner, especially since we were in a 3-hour time zone difference, and it was evident he put our needs well above his. He clearly exceeded all our expectations and went above and beyond his call of duty. Even after closing, he had a dearth of referral options for us such as contractors, housing security options, utility companies and even local restaurants! He helped us negotiate purchase terms in a professional manner: He listened to our needs, shared his thoughts, observations, experiences but bottom line made it known in no uncertain terms it was always our decision. We never felt pressured in any way. He always was extremely personable, calm and relaxed. He never showed any signs of being stressed or that there was never a problem he could not solve. It was such a joy and pleasure working with him, that we would highly recommend him.

I moved out of town and he helped me get the roof replaced, flooring, and about 20 other things because his network is extensive. He set everything up and gave me multiple different options so I can decide the best course of action. Once I gave the go ahead on any repairs he took it from there. He really is a full service real estate agent. He can set you up with any type of contractor, lender, lawyer, insurance agent, title company, etc. and make the selling experience as simple as possible. He coordinated everything for me and when it was all said and done, he sold my house well above asking price. He is the real deal. ZillowVERIFIED Ok so your 1st thought may be ?will he help me find what I need or is he just in it for the money? let me answer that, we looked at a few house and sadly they didn?t work out in our favor but he was honest, I believe we may have been able to get 1 but he pointed out a very critical issue with the foundation and thank god. John went way above and beyond because we told him we were also looking in the Rochester area, John went out of his way and found us an agent in this area, let me stress this, no they don?t work together, no they are not the same company, no John had nothing to gain but our trust with this. He found us someone and we got a house out here. John didn?t have to do that, let me stress again he had nothing to gain. He lost out on a sale but he kept his promise to help us find a house. I don?t know if anyone else who would have done that. He also checked in with us to see how things were going afterwords and generally seemed excited for us as well.
