My fiancA(C) and I had such a wonderful experience working with Joe, Dave, and the team at Mark Allen Realty! Being first time homebuyers in the middle of one of the toughest markets in a long time, Joe and Dave helped us through the process and answered all of our questions (we had a ton). From our first Zoom meeting, we knew Joe and Dave would be the team we wanted to work with! They understood our vision and helped us shape it along the way. We did all of our showings with Dave and he was wonderful about communicating and helping us notice things we wouldn't otherwise have spotted. When we were ready to put in an offer, all of the steps were taken quickly. The process was not easy, but Dave and Joe really did help us every step of the way. Our journey as first time homebuyers started a bit rocky when the first property that accepted our offer ended up having some fire damage. When we decided to rescind our offer, Dave was right there with us to continue the showings and to help us reflect. Then, when we got outbid on a different property (due to the current market), Dave assured us that we would continue to be patient and persistent. The next house we put in an offer on is the one we are currently sitting in now...all thanks to Dave, Joe, Kelsey, and the wonderful attorney and inspector they recommended to us. It was so reassuring to have such a great support team, especially considering our lack of knowledge on the process. From frequent check-ins, to open-availability, to honest conversations, the team at Mark Allen Realty will be there for you as you embark on the journey of home buying!

With 2021 shaping up to be one of the toughest markets for buyers in years, you want a real estate agent who is willing to push and fight for you to get your dream home. Look no further than Joe and his team at Mark Allen Realty. From the moment we meet Joe, we felt comfortable and loved the way he approached our search. As first-time home buyers, we had tons of questions and changed our minds several times on which suburb we wanted to move to. Joe was patient, insightful and I cant stress this enough aEUR" incredibly responsive. If there was a home that came up that we wanted to see, we often had an appointment the same day or first thing the next day, which was hugely critical considering the low inventory. As lifelong Chicagoans, he helped us better understand the different dynamics of the suburbs and was incredibly knowledgeable of every area we were looking. When we ended up making an offer on our house, we had to do it fast and Joe made sure we understood the entire process. He worked diligently with a difficult seller to cancel all future appointments and accept our offer aEUR" the same day. From that point we worked closely with our mortgage team (who was recommended by Joe and we would also highly recommend aEUR" Guaranteed Rate) and the lawyers. Joe coordinated closely with everyone and kept us informed every step of the way (we again, had a lot of questions). We ended up with a fantastic home in an incredible neighborhood.
