I dont write reviews very often, but in this case, I found it absolutely necessary as Joanne made the entire process of buying a house incredibly easy. I am a first-time home buyer and have lived in apartments for the past 10 years. When I first contacted Joanne, I informed her that I was not yet sold on the idea of buying a house as I had heard how competitive the market was and my current apartment is rather nice for the price point. I informed her that I was mostly just looking for information and that I could not by any means commit to buying a house at that time. She completely understood my apprehension and asked to meet with me anyways to give me as much information as she could. We met a couple of days later and she explained the entire process to me and really put me at ease with her confidence and professionalism. After discussing my options and going over my financial standing, we decided to start looking at houses and seeing what I liked the following weekend. At first, I had an idea of what I was looking for in a house and I had a plan in my mind of what I wanted to do with the house. I explained to Joanne what my ideal house was within my budget. We looked at a few of my ideal houses the first weekend, but Joanne also pushed me to look at some places outside of what I was looking for, a decision I could not be any happier about. This diversity made me see things in a different way and also gave me some perspective on what I would be able to get for my budget in different areas. When I found the house that I wanted to call mine, Joanne knew before I did that I was going to make an offer. Once I told her that I wanted to go for it, she went straight into action with getting the paperwork ready for me, even though she had family on the way from out of town. Every step of the way was made extremely easy for me as Joanne knew exactly what needed to get done, when it needed to get done, and how it needed to get done. This was extremely important to me as I was using a VA loan and some realtors are not well versed in non-traditional financing. Joanne knew all of the ins and outs and was able to effortlessly guide me through the entire process.From our first conversation, to finding the home I purchased, through to closing, Joanne never faltered in her professionalism, expertise, and genuinely passionate attitude. I felt very well taken care of and I know that she will still be there to help me with anything else I need during this journey of home ownership. Thank you, Joanne, for everything!
