Joan Macaluso Shorter has been licensed as a real estate professional since 2001. She has a Bachelor degree in ILR and English from Lemoyne College in Syracuse NY. She also attended Buffalo State College for Ceramic Design. Joan has served on the East Point Planning & Zoning Board, Business & Industrial Development Authority Board, and now is Vice Chair of the Board of Commissioners for the East Point Housing Authority. She has a commitment to community.

Prior to Real Estate Joan taught pottery classes at Art Centers in Roswell, Gwinnett, and South Fulton Co. She was Chair of the Individual Visual Artists' Coalition. And Joan worked in both retail sales and wholesale imports.
