ZillowVERIFIED Joan worked hard to negotiate for the price the property was worth. I felt lucky to have her by my side, she stood up when she needed to but she allowed my voice to be heard.

ZillowVERIFIED Joan helped us at every step of the process and helped us sell our home very quickly. House was only on the market a few weeks before it sold. We had interest in the house immediately.

ZillowVERIFIED No exaggeration, my house hunt took 3 months and covered several hundred square miles and properties from 1500 to 3000 square feet. I was definitely the nightmare buyer with no idea what I wanted or where I wanted it to be, only how much I wanted to spend.Joan found me a house and kept her sense of humor about the whole situation even through the Atlanta traffic. She was great to work with with, turned on a dime for area/style/type and had an encyclopedic knowledge of inside the 285 perimeter (and even outside the perimeter) real estate markets and neighborhoods. I heartily recommend.

ZillowVERIFIED Joan did an excellent job for us. She conducted her business in a very thorough fashion and made a complicated process very easy to understand. Her advice always made sense and she was patient with our questions as we worked through the decision process. Furthermore, she was very responsive. As a result, the house sold within a few weeks and closed on time. I would definitely recommend Joan to friends and family.

ZillowVERIFIED I moved from Atlanta to Chicago in the Spring. Joan is a local and knows the area well, so I contacted her when I decided to make the leap. She gave me invaluable information that helped me in my decision to rent, not sell, my home. She could have made more money if she had encouraged me to sell, so I knew she was being completely honest with me. We put it on the market and she did an exceptional job with every step of the process. If you are looking for a professional, courteous, knowledgeable agent in Atlanta, Joan Shorter is a great decision.

ZillowVERIFIED Joan is an incredible real estate agent because she does her work as a neighbor who cares about her community and about you thriving in that community. She's smart, very knowledgeable, extremely professional and honest. She has gone way beyond the call of duty several times for me, from tidying up my house when I was wanting to rent it to helping me choose materials for a house project when I moved back into my house. She even drew up a house plan for a house expansion that the contractor was totally impressed with. She screened tenants for me so I had good people renting my house for four years. She gave me good advice when I sold a house that wasn't even in her area of coverage. She loaned me yard equipment I needed. Put simply, Joan is always there for me. I recommend her whole-heartedly. She's the best!
