Wow, where to begin? My husband and I started our house hunt at the height of the pandemic real estate craziness due to needing to get out of our rental house within the next few months. Joan and her team started out by explaining the whole process, hooking us up with a great mortgage broker that worked with our personalities, and getting us set up with MLS access to see what was on the market, coming soon, and what properties were sold at. Throughout the whole five month process of looking at houses, touring houses, and putting in multiple offers, Joan stood by us and assured us it was not us or our offers, but that the market really was that crazy. She was always available to answer questions via email, text, or phone. She gave great advice on what would make our offers stronger and was just as disappointed as we were when they were not accepted. Finally, we found a house within our budget, in our ideal neighbourhood, and with everything on our need list and a few things on our want list. She negotiated our offer to include an inspection contingency (which, in this market is almost unheard of), which we were thrilled about. After making seven offers on houses over a time period of several months, we finally got an offer accepted and Joan was as thrilled as we were! Once the offer was accepted, Joan continued to advocate for us during the inspection, close period, and even after we closed. I could not have imagined a better person to go through this gruelling process with. (In fact, this is the second time she has been our agent, as she sold my husbands townhouse and helped us find our rental.) I would absolutely recommend anyone looking to buy, sell, or rent to contact Joan immediately. She really made the process smooth, comfortable, and way less terrifying than it could have been!

Joan sold our home and we highly recommend her as her support, and positive personality, led to a fantastic experience.
