ZillowVERIFIEDWe interviewed Jim, and one other agent, as a referral from the Dave Ramsey "Preferred Local Provider" pool. We were looking to sell our home. We specifically were sold by his promise of proactive efforts to assist us in our sales efforts ~ which he ultimately delivered on! He assisted us in presenting and staging our home. For his part in marketing the property, he went over the top! Once we had an offer, he patiently walked us through the closing process, answering every question we had and monitoring the process as it was in the hands of third parties. It was a great experience for us; in large part because of Jim's efforts.

ZillowVERIFIED As an active duty military officer, I can recognize professionalism right away! Jim is a professional, bar none! I could not have asked for a better person than Jim. Definitely, he went above and beyond in guiding us through the buying process. He provided 5 star plus service. Following are the things that Jim has consistently exceeded: 1. Expertise - The quickest way to know a person?s level of knowledge is by asking tons of questions. Every time, I received answers that were well explained, and he made sure that no questions were unanswered. I was very impressed that by breadth of his knowledge , and it was obvious that he has been doing this for a while.. 2. Timely communication - I was very impressed by how Jim was able to respond to all of my emails and phone calls in a very timely manner. For me, it is very important to get my question answered quick, and Jim consistently answered my questions in a short period of time. Even though I was in Spain, our communication process was flawless. 3. Care - ? This is also where Jim went above and beyond. We were arriving from Spain and Jim even came to the airport to pick us up. After closing, the title company wanted to get more money. Jim quickly intervened on our behalf, and we did not have to pay because the title company made a mistake. Jim is truly the best! He has my highest recommendation.

ZillowVERIFIED Jim handles it all! He helped us buy our first home as short sale. More recently he did a contingent offer for our next home. He had the home we were selling on the market on a Friday. By Monday when we were doing the home inspection (use the guy jim recommends he is great) on the new house Jim showed up with 3 full priced offers.... That's 3 offers in 3 days! Any hiccups that happened thru out the process Jim smoothed them out in no time. I have already recommended Jim to a friend and my parents will be using Jim soon as well. All said and done, Jim is very knowledgeable, outgoing, trustworthy agent that gets the job done right.

We had called on several others to help us with our home purchase but Jim was the only one to return our message within minuets. ZillowVERIFIED Jim Selden was awesome to work with, we called & left him a message on one house after the relator listed didn't call back he immediately called back let us know it was pending. Made an appointment to meet with him on a Sunday, let him know what we were looking for then he set up an appointment to meet with a financial person which we met that same day. Jim met with us several times to show us houses even on weekends and evenings. Very easy to work with and he cares, was very knowledgeable on all questions we asked regarding the house up to closing. Would recommend him to anyone, have already passed out his business card to a friend.

ZillowVERIFIED I know this review seems too good to be true, but my wife and I truly have only positive things to say about Jim Seldon and The Seldon Group. He already has a fantastic reputation in this area (which is why we chose him) and now we know why. Jim is very kind and personable and treated us as if we were buying a mansion through him, even though we were probably one of his lower end clients. He was always on time and always prepared, and had plenty of connections to other resources such as inspectors, appraisers, etc. that we also felt did a very good job. As to our particular sale: it would not have gone through without his help. He was an absolutely crucial part of our 1st time home-buying process, and a complete class act! We could not recommend him higher!
