ZillowVERIFIED Several reasons brought us over to South Dakota: job changes, MIL in assisted living, wanted to be closer to our kids. . . When we started looking at Zillow, we didnt have an agent to work with. We found a house that interested us and Zillow recommended Jim based on the area we were looking. We dont believe in chances. Jim was a God-send. He was so down-to-earth, honest, friendly, and was so patient with all of our questions and the long list of what we wanted to find in our new home. Jim answered our phone calls and texts quickly. He never made us feel that we were intruding on his time, or we were a bother. He made sure to point out all of the promising things in a property, but wasnt afraid to show us anything that might cause a red flag. During the time we worked with Jim, my husband and I were continually impressed by him. When we ended up looking in areas over an hour from his home-turf he didnt even blink. He had to make several long commutes while we found the right home, but he was happy to oblige and make sure we were taken care of. This is the 4th home weve ever bought/sold and weve never met a realtor who weve been so impressed with or clicked with as we did with Jim. You could tell his biggest concern wasnt in selling a house for his own pocketbook, but in making sure we were completely happy - and weve NEVER found that in any other realtor weve worked with - whether buying or selling - in the past. If were ever in the market again, we would call Jim in a heartbeat and would recommend him to everyone we know - and even those we dont!

We discussed what my needs were. He made suggestions and offered advice. He made himself available for house viewings after I got off work and on weekends. The viewings were great because he was our advocate and made sure to point out discrepancies that might be big issues in the houses we were viewing. He helped us find a great mortgage company for the pre-approval and then the approval. We looked at a few homes and we found the one perfect for us.
