We (My fiancee and I) first contacted Jim and Michelle to look at a property they had listed, and immediately we could tell they were very knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping us buy the right home. Throughout the entire process Jim and Michelle were patient, never pushy, and always available. They always did their best to help us find the right house, rather than just trying to close a transaction. I never felt pressured by them into making a decision. They are both incredibly knowledgeable about the home-buying process, including working with lenders and title companies, and they also are both very familiar with the East Valley (Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek). They never hesitated to share what they knew and offer us their opinions and advice, which was really helpful for us as first time homebuyers. After seeing a couple dozen houses, when we were ready to make an offer, Jim and Michelle walked us through the whole process and explained everything completely. They never had trouble answering our many questions. They made sure we were getting a fair deal and ensured we understood everything that was happening. After our offer was accepted, Jim did a great job negotiating with the owners and their agent to make sure issues with the house were fixed. Throughout the closing process Jim and Michelle were still very communicative and helpful. In addition to being knowledgeable and experienced, Jim and Michelle really went above and beyond their duties as real estate agents - they recommended a lender to us (who we ended up using) and they constantly stayed in contact with the lender to make sure the process was moving along, and to make sure we were providing the lender with the information needed. They also made sure we understood everything regarding the appraisal, inspection, signing, closing, and lending. Jim and Michelle make a fantastic team. Theyre both friendly, helpful, honest, knowledgeable, responsive, and overall just wonderful to work with. We had always heard that the house-buying process is painful, but that was not our experience. Thanks to Jim and Michelle, we just closed on our first home, and we couldnt be happier. Having known them very well I didnt shop around for any other agents, as I knew that I couldnt get anyone better to do the job?!? Sure ?enough I was right about it?!? My house went under contract in less than 48 hours of being on the market. ?I also had a backup offer. Jim knew very well how to handle this situation, and made sure that he guided me properly and use it to my best, in case the first offer did not go through. ? Michelle was very helpful with the staging process as well as many other aspects of the showings. They have done an amazing job for us in selling our home, priced correctly, perfect paperwork, eliminating roadblocks before they happen (catching errors made by others in the process numerous times) marketing the home superbly with an extremely professional video tour of the house. This Market was changing almost daily and builders were dropping prices all around us, but because Jim and Michelle had done their pricing homework, we sold our house for what we needed. Secondly during the entire process we had to find a new home to downsize. This was far more difficult to do than we imagined, 3500 Sq ft to 2300 sq ft. Jim and Michelle were invaluable in helping us work through this process and shift our focus to new possibilities instead of worrying all the Pitfalls. They are engaged in every part of the process, Jim actually scanned the appraisers report to find he used the wrong lot number on our new builder home. These are the details that separate the experienced professionals and make for less stress through the entire process. The entire process went as smooth as can be when buying a house and the team they used for the loan process and closing was wonderful. Jim was great with negotiating and making sure the items were done that needed to be done per inspection.
