Jilayna Arcoren

Born and raised in Minneapolis, Jilayna has a deep connection to the Twin Cities metro. After graduating high school, Jilayna relocated to Michigan and attended New Horizons Institute, where she completed certifications in quality assurance implementation, quality management, and financial auditing, all with a focus on improving client service. After spending 6 years in Michigan, Jilayna returned to her roots so she could be closer to family. Before working in real estate, Jilayna served her communities through 15 years of customer service and sales in a few organizations. With her knowledge and certifications, she has worked in project management as a quality assurance coordinator for an international information management company. She's also worked with implementation teams to convert five branches across multiple states to new software systems. Following that, she was the lead client trainer, inside product sales agent, and finally the lead purchaser and logistics coordinator for a large trucking company. While working, Jilayna also worked with the State of Minnesota as a child welfare advocate, became a licensed foster care provider, and adopted four children through the Minnesota foster care system. After these experiences, Jilayna took what she learned and pursued her passion of real estate in 2016 and hasn't looked back. Her experience led her to obtain her Brokers license and to serving as the Director of Sales for the Pemberton Homes Team, where she manages and trains 120 agents in all aspects of real estate. Now residing in Waconia, Jilayna shares her home with her husband, Davis; their three daughters, three sons, four Siamese cats, and two schnoodle dogs. One of Jilayna's most treasured hobbies is gardening, cultivating a large variety of flowers and herbs each year, and hoping to have a flower farm one day. When she's not outside gardening, you can usually find her fishing, around a campfire, or in the kitchen creating new soup or dessert recipes for her friends and family. As a real estate Broker and Director of Sales, Jilayna holds herself to a high level of professionalism. She has a deep passion for finding her clients the right home, providing a 5-star client experience every time and considers it a privilege to be part of a person's homeownership journey. Jilayna prides herself on being a good listener, a strong communicator, real estate educator, friendly, trustworthy, and fun. Some of her biggest goals are to serve in a public capacity advocating for affordable housing, as well as children's mental health and education.
