Carlos and Jennifer Rivera of Blue and Gray Realty are absolutely fantastic. As an active duty military family, they were referred to us through social media military community forums when we moved to the National Capital Region. The buying process easy was seamless. They walked us through everything. Two years later we came down on orders to relocate so we reached out to them again to sell our home. With their strong sense of the market, they worked to sell our house at its top value. The selling process turned out to be a uniquely complicated one due to the market and a few other facets , but again, Carlos and Jennifer were right there to ensure our success. They also have a particular understanding of how military relocations work because they too were once a military family. Their special experience within the subject matter eased the stress of the relocation process. We were able to properly relocate while the selling process remained in progress. Carlos and Jennifer are about as good as they get. They are more professional than other realtors we have dealt with (we've moved 5 times). They don't make mistakes. They are very responsive. They truly know the area an most important to didn't show us anything that didn't suit our needs.Carlos is retired military with an impressive military history. I think this shows in everything he does. He's on the ball. For us Blue & Gray's strongest skill is that they just don't make mistakes. Paperwork is on time and it doesn't need to be revised. In the past we've had to fire an agent over these kinds of problems and we should have fired another who made incredible mistakes. So much so that we had to stop the first closing while they spent several days finding all the necessary paperwork and getting it completed. All this while we are packed and ready to move into our new home and the new owner is ready to move in our house the next day. The new owner had to check into a hotel while our agent got all of this fixed. Nightmare for us and we had to pay the new owner to stay in a hotel while our agent got their act together. We also had to find another mover because they needed the truck and couldn't leave it sitting for days. In both cases the agent were working for a big, national realty companies. With that, you would have thought they could do better. Blue & Gray Realty is a successful company and from what we've seen it's no surprise. They really work for it. Very highly recommended.
