ZillowVERIFIED To Whom it May Concern:My wife, children and I made a painstaking decision to move from the Baltimore County area to New York. We were prepared to have a rather troublesome time selling our town home given the market, the time when we bought, and the actual costs that the town homes in the immediate neighborhood were selling. This expectation was far from our experience with Jenell Forman. I had a limited but existent history with Jenell. For "fun" I was looking at properties in the Baltimore area less than a year from our move knowing that a move out of MD was evident. Jenell knew this but in his extremely friendly and gregarious manner, he showed me multiple properties, multiple times. He was awesome; extremely knowledgeable and completely easy to "walk through" with. So...when we finally decided to sell our place and leave the great state of MD we needed a realtor. My wife wanted to interview a few companies. We met with two that told us to rent within 10 minutes of our meeting. Jenell came in and told us he would get us "top dollar" for our place. It was tough to accept that "sell" at first, but given his detailed presentation of the surrounding properties, we decided to stick with him. Like he stated, while most homes were going for the high 190s and low 200s, he "suggested" the high 250s. Of course, that was amazing to us since we originally payed in the low 300s. Regardless, it was great to hear such a high offer given our previous realtors and the going rate in our area. Well....long story long...our place actually was under contract after 8 days! AND we got more than what we were asking (not much...but whatever)! It was a rather surreal experience!It is worth noting that Jenell was amazing throughout the selling process. Once the house was on the market, he either stopped by or called daily. He was very knowledgeable and even helped with some of our repairs. He gave great advice as well. There is a chance that we may make it back to the Baltimore area in the future and there is no doubt in my mind that I will be calling Jenell Forman when we return!

We wanted new construction, so that we could make decisions before, during and after in building our dream home from the ground up. Jenell greeted my family and I with such kindness and was very passionate about what he was doing. He got our interest very quickly when he demonstrated to us that his customers best interest was his priority. Even after we purchased the lot and began the building process, Jenell continued to be there for us answering questions, easing our anxiety and assisting with making long term decisions that would benefit us in the long run. In only 1.5 years of owning the house, Jenell helped us net a 10 percent return on our investment. How did we net a 10 percent return? In my opinion , 4 main factors contributed to our success. 1) Jenell's Market Knowledge- Jenell found us a great house in a great market with excellent resale value. 2) Jenell's Negotiating Skills- these skills helped on both the purchase and sale of the house. 3) Jenell's House Staging Skills- he did a superb job helping us prep our house for showings. We had several factors working against us; we didn't know the market, had limited time available for showings, and generally were inexperienced with 'what to look for' and 'what to expect'. Fortunately for us, Jenell 'super-realtor' Foreman was on the case. Jenell made the buying experience so simple and convenient. For starters, my busy job made it difficult to schedule showings especially considering the distance we lived from our desired location. Jenell leveraged the 'user-friendly' Remax website to make searching for homes easy. After a week of browsing through available homes, my wife and I narrowed our search down to 10 homes. We told Jenell we only had 3 hours on Saturday, but wanted to see all 10 homes. Jenell worked diligently to setup all the showings. These properties ranged from beautiful well-kept homes to distressed properties. He explained the pros and cons for both. After searching for hours, my wife and I found the perfect property. From there, we headed to Jenell's office to submit our first offer. Jenell used his keen negotiation skills and patience to help is get a great price on a great property. The professionalism didn't stop there. Next step, Jenell offered a suggestion for a super home inspector. After spending a couple minutes with the guy, we felt comfortable and had him move forward with our inspection. He did an extremely thorough job and found several items which needed repair. Again, Jenell negotiated these repairs.I can't say enough about what a knowledgable, patient realtor Jenell is. I referred a co-worker to him and he bought a house as well.... In the past three years we had already spent many hours cleaning, painting, and preparing our home for showing so to say my wife and I approached this process again with trepidation was an understatement. When we were ready to sell our home our daughter did not hesitate to recommend Jenell to us. We met him and were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. We entrusted the sale of our home to Jenell. He made some recommendations to ensure that we could get the price we were asking. We made the improvements. The results were amazing. We fell in love with our home all over again. The photographs that Jenell took of our house were stunning. The response we received once the house was put on the market was even better. Some time later, due to a family illness, we had to take the house off the market.Recently, we contacted Jenell indicating that we were ready to sell our home. But, because of the family illness, we were only interested in broking even with the sale of our house. We also informed Jenell that he only had 4 months to sell it. Jenell was very understanding and sympathetic to our needs and was more than willing to take on the challenge. It was essential that he sell our house in the 4 month time frame. We were moving out into our new place and weren't going to be able to afford to keep up both places for an extended period of time. He calculated everything and sent us a written proposal. We were busy focusing on other matters that we left everything in the capable hands of our professional real estate agent.Bottom line is that Jenell sold our house for $36,000 above our broke even number. ZillowVERIFIED Don't go anywhere else! My husband and I picked Jenell from his reviews here on Zillow--he totally delivered. From the beginning, Jenell was quick to respond to any and all of our questions. Our most favorite part about Jenell is the fact that he truly let us choose the perfect house for us. With his construction knowledge, he was able to give us facts about each house we looked at--and we looked at a good number of houses, but let us make the decision ourselves. He would give advise such as, "this house has a lot of space. The other house has smaller rooms, but with a nice, updated kitchen and bathrooms. It's up to you guys to decide which is more important to you." His construction knowledge was such an asset to us--definitely helped us make educated choices as we were looking through different houses. He gave us tips on negotiations on what is a reasonable price to start, but again, left the choice to us whether we wanted to go forward on a counter-offer. During inspection, he again delivered by setting us up with Eric Smith, who was extremely thorough and wonderfully knowledgeable about houses. Both Eric and Jenell gave us such expert advise on what to do with the house and what to expect. Jenell is definitely a team player and will look out for what is best for you. Buying is a house is a mix of emotional, financial and factual variables. Having Jenell on our side helped us balance all three. He was extremely patient with us and always gave us options as well as facts. He is simply the right choice when looking for a Buyer's agent.
