ZillowVERIFIED Trust Havent sold a home in 32 years so how do you know what to do? Like everything else you turn to the internet and YouTube to learn things you need to know. The first thing experts recommend is to find an agent you can trust! Second thing was to find one of those top 20 percent agents that sell 80 percent of the homes in the area. Third thing was to get an agent that offers quality marketing, ensures pre screened buyers coming through your home not just an open house, uses a professional photographer for video and pictures, uses staging or virtual staging as needed and excellent home pricing using local comps in your area. To sum it up an agent that offers great total service no matter what your home value. Fourth thing was willingness to negotiate a commission and agree on a BA commission strategy. Fifth thing was an agent that takes the time to walk your property and give critical constructive advise on required or not required items to replace or repair to help the sale of your home. Along with the above was, a coming soon posting on all media, lawn signage, and an organized showing method with a phone app making showing a breeze. After three in person interviews and one over the phone interview with several top agents Jeff Martin came out on top. Jeff Martin not only met all the above criteria I was looking for but also had a great team attitude, a willingness to help us move into our next chapter and a very honest trustworthy demeanor. ZillowVERIFIED I highly recommend Jeff Martin based on two different transactions for our family. We were initially impressed 2 years ago with his representation of a seller. Their house had been on the market for a long time with different agents. Jeff was the agent that was able to market and sell the house to my son and his family. When I needed to sell my parents house this summer, I interviewed Jeff along with two other highly respected agents working for top real estate firms. I shouldnt have been surprised that Jeff stood out with the best combination of experience, professionalism, honesty, communication skills, and marketing plan. He promised to guide us through every step of the sale process and he did that very well. Jeff supported listing our property for $15,000-$20,000 higher than another trusted agent and didnt flinch when a similar property went up for sale for less at the same time. He read the market well and the end result was a quick sale at list price with a reasonable concession to the buyer. There were absolutely no issues during preparation, sale, and settlement, which is another advantage of working with an experienced agent like Jeff Martin. If I need to buy or sell a property in the future, Jeff will be the only one I call.

( I had brief communication with him several weeks prior to using his services to purchase our home; we were untested in a home he listed and he sent us a packet of information about the home buying process. ) He hit the ground running and set us up with our first showing of a different home (our dream home!) He came to the showing prepared with comps of the neighborhood and he clearly had a wealth of experience and knowledge about the home buying process. Since we are senior citizens, we had a particular type of house in mind. However, as many people , we had to sell the house we were living in.Jeff gave us suggestions as to how to improve the appeal of our house before listing it. We had a home with many stairs and due to age and circumstance , we needed a one story home. Therefore we looked for our dream home while our house stood waiting for a buyer....After viewing quite a few homes, we decided upon one that we found which was extremely pleasing to us.
