Your home, for most of us, is your most valuable asset and selling it requires more than your level of knowledge and practical expertise. It is also true that not all real estate agents perform at the same level. Most are strong starters but terrible finishers. This is an interesting market we are in and getting top dollar was Jays major concern WITH stellar communication to me. You have to do your part as the seller to respond in kind for best results. Slow responses cost you money and the game is fast paced for motivated sellers. The net net of my entire discourse is Jay is one of the best if not the best in this area. Feels more like a friendship with great communication. We dealt with other professionals in this process and they all told us what a good partner we selected. so its not just me :-). If youre ready to get your head in the game and get this place sold, call Jay and get it done. Sold very quickly!

ZillowVERIFIED Jay is definitely the BEST realtor that I have worked with thus far. I have sold and purchased properties in different cities and experienced a few realtors. Jay was the easiest to work with. A few attributes that I appreciate the most about Jay include great listener, timely communications, immediate responses, making reasonable suggestions but does not push you to make improvements when selling a house, and helping with rationalization during decision making time. Jay is very easy going and made my transaction very smooth. For example, when selling my house, I told Jay that I'd like to spend a certain amount to improve the house before listing the house. He listened, provided general contractor recommendation, reviewed the quotes provided by general contractors, and provided suggestions to limit tasks and stay on budget. Verses some other realtors in my past has been pushing me to spend way more than my budget to improve the house. I'd highly recommend Jay.

From the first phone conversation, Jay was very attentive and helpful. We would come from out of town to look at houses and our schedule was sometimes tight. Jay was willing to adjust his schedule around ours. After deciding on a house, Jay walked us through the buying process with expertise. I don't think we could have had a better experience. He went to house without being asked the day of closing and found roof damage from overnight storm. We would have been surprised and disappointed had he not done that extra effort. Excellent agent rating of 5 star is not high enough.

ZillowVERIFIED It took almost a year to buy a home, which involved numerous showings, numerous offers and even multiple executed contracts that didnt close for various reasons. Jay stuck with us throughout the ups and downs of the process until we finally closed on our new house. Throughout the buying process, Jay was always willing to do showings whenever we requested, which generally happened in evenings or late evenings, and sometimes in locations that were fairly distant. When we decided to submit an offer, Jay would write up the contract very quickly even outside normal business hours so that we could get our offer in. On the selling side, Jay helped get the home sold very quickly and his service providers such as photographer, title company, and vendors were also top notch.

ZillowVERIFIED Amy and Jay worked with us to find and buy our first dream home - on time and within budget! We were at the end of our lease and needed to find a place quickly. We had been looking for homes online for over a year and had yet to find our place. We requested to go view some homes we had found online and Amy suggested two more in the same neighborhood - we ended up buying one of those - she knew our taste better than we did. We were approved by their recommended lender on Friday, set up viewings with Amy on Sunday, and made an offer that night. We moved within the month. As first-time home buyers, they were both extremely helpful at explaining the process and letting us know what was within our rights as buyers. ZillowVERIFIED Almost immediately after reaching out to Jay, he called and met OUR schedule on meeting. He walked us through the process and even went so far as to take a stab at what price we would realize at the end of the process (more on that in a bit). He spent most of his time listening to us as we answered his questions. We had not sold a home before, really, and had no idea what to ask. But Jay knew what we should ask and guided us the entire way.Jay hooked us up with a staging expert to ensure our home showed as well as it could. That meeting took place as soon as OUR scheduled would allow (it could have been sooner except for us). We followed the advice we got and within a week of out initial meeting, Jay had scheduled an open house.During the entire process, Jay was incredibly response to our every need/question. Calls, texts and emails were immediately answered. We never felt in the dark or out of the loop. We received weekly market news to see our "competition" and to better understand the market.42 short days later, we closed the sale. I mentioned that Jay took a stab at where our price would ultimately be. He was EXACTLY right! Not close, I mean exactly! That's a guy who knows the market and works his tail off understanding everything that drives the market.We didn't want to move from Katy and look forward to a chance to return, and when we do, Jay is our guy! He even went outside our initial request when we were initially purchasing to make sure we saw different types and areas of properties to make sure we were informed prior to purchase of all of our options.
