I joke around because its like I have never made such a good friend so fast in my entire life. Thats Jay. Hes just a great guy that is likeable and trustworthy. Hes extremely knowledgeable with real estate in general, and an expert in contract negotiation. He knows exactly what to look for and gave us so many valuable tips that saved us thousands upon thousands. Not only that, but he is constantly pushing to be better with staying updated on the latest market trends, and technology, as real estate is constantly evolving - something I thought was pretty cool when throughout the process he was going to real estate seminars, etc... Just investing in himself and team, rather than becoming stagnant. What I loved the most is that with Jay, you immediately know he has your back and is very authentic. Not only that, he actually is active in the community and does his own real estate investments for himself. His knowledge with how short term rentals / vacation rentals worked was 100% spot on. No other agent I talked to when looking for someone to work with could provide the correct info on that, but Jay knew right away what to do. All of the talks we had with friends in family regarding their home purchases years ago and what we could expect were absolutely useless. They all bought when the RE market was completely different. Luckily Mario was familiar with the current trends and after some initial questioning of his advice at the beginning; we quickly realized that everything we thought we knew was completely useless and we would be wise to follow his advice. ZillowVERIFIED I had my house on the market for 4 months and decided to remove it for awhile. When Jay reached out to me soon after I took it off the market I was very skeptical about relisting. He assured me I would not have to wait to put it back on the market because with his aggressive marketing strategies it would be OK. I decided to interview a few realtors so I felt I did my due diligence. Jay came out on top! I was impressed with how he approached our initial interview with a folder complete with everything from his staff and what they do to all the steps of his marketing plan. From the minute I decided to use Jay, Kelly his office contact immediately emailed me the timeline and what would be required of me. Anytime I had a question either Jay or Kelly would answer me almost immediately!! The house went on the market on a Friday and that afternoon we had the first bid and in the next three days we had three more bids. In four days we were in escrow for $30,000 over asking price!! ZillowVERIFIED Who you hire to sell your house matters. PRIOR to a phone call from Jay, my house sat on the market with another realtor for a year. The house was not marketed or priced appropriately during that time. There was a $1000 worth of damage to a pump while it was being shown and no one took responsibility. I would return after a showing with the toilet full and not flushed. I finally took it off the market because I could not take any more. Jay called me and from the very first meeting he was a professional and clearly a pro. He has a marketing plan that is designed to get the job done and get the job done he did. The house was under contract in under a week after it was listed with him and when that offer fell out of Escrow he had another offer in under a week. Jay gave me a call the month we took down the listing inquiring what happened and if we would give him a shot. I told him we would think about it and to send me info, since we have renters and it was a huge hassle to try to sell with them in the home. Two months later, our renters decided to put their notice to vacate in, so I dug up Jay?s email and gave him a call. To say the experience I had with Jay and his team was night and day to my previous realtor would be an understatement. From the first second, I felt heard, understood and knew they had my best interests at heart. And the biggest benefit I could ever ask for ? communication. I never felt out of the loop and could call, text, or email Jay or Kelly whenever I needed them. They were always happy to help and gracious. The Comparison they performed did not include recent sales of houses in my tract! And then they argued with me.
