She has assisted us with the purchase of two homes (which includes a townhouse is a 55+ community) and is currently working on selling a townhome for us after a decision to move permanently to Oro Valley and consolidate into one home. She understands the area and can thoughtfully discuss the neighborhoods in the area. It initially appeared that moving into our new home was going to be a breeze. However, upon the walk through the day prior to closing, we discovered that the reverse osmosis system had flooded the house. Sam (working with the seller's realtor) had mitigation services in the house within two hours. Needless to say we did not close as expected. Sam spent the next two months in constant contact with the seller's agent, the company who worked on the mitigation and us as the re-build necessary to get the house back in order took place. She communicated with everyone on an almost daily basis. The damage was completely repaired in two months (a remarkably quick timeframe). She looked out for our best interests, making sure the job was done correctly and expeditiously. She has a great eye for detail, during our final walk though (after repairs and prior to closing) she found many items we did not see that she felt should be repaired better than they had been and she worked with the restoration repair company to be sure they were done expeditiously so that we could close on time. Sam is now working on selling the townhouse that we owned prior to moving into our new house and I have no doubt that she will do a great job marketing and selling it. She was thoughtful with the pricing and is also pleasure to work with on the selling side. We feel confident based on our experiences working with Sam that she will get the job done and know that you can count on her too. She provides excellent service to her clients and is very responsive to their needs and desires. She has our highest possible recommendation as a realtor in the Tucson area (she also helped our daughter with the purchase of her home and she had a fabulous experiences as well)!
ZillowVERIFIEDI wish we had a good experience with Sam. I am confident others have an will, too. However, if you are anything other than a conventional buyer, it is best to seek help elsewhere as Sam clearly did not have experience with FHA procedures. It became embarrassing how much we as first time home buyers knew more than her with only 3 weeks experience. It was costly when we went under contract with houses twice that had obvious and/or serious permit issues that we thought an experienced realtor could deduce was not a good option when looking at the house. Now we are even better educated, but at a cost. I am positive Sam is wonderful for conventional clients, but she does need to learn to be able to say "I don't have experience with this". In addition, she wasn't good at negotiating and had to be asked to talk to selling agents. It was beginning to be an overall embarrassing experience.

Samantha Goodwin was recommended by our family members. I have been an investor in real estate as well as a private homeowner, and, because of this experience, have very specific criteria for a real estate agent. First, they must listen to my needs and respond accordingly; second, they must go at the pace at which I am comfortable; third, they must go beyond the buy/sell transaction and help me solve the life issues surrounding the transition. Samantha listened to our story, and was careful to make sure she understood what we needed and why. We spoke about needing a place near our family and a smaller house located near shopping and health care. At one point, we shifted focus to building a new house rather than purchasing an existing home. Samantha made sure we met with quality builders in our price range.
