What I was after originally didn't really exist, but he was able to point to houses with features that did exist and we were able to purchase a house that had almost everything we wanted in the area we wanted. When it came time to sell the house, he was able to keep things realistic. Even after the market flipped from sellers to buyers, we were able to get it sold in a shorter timeframe than almost identical houses on the market for the same price.

She was honest and realistic with expectations and walked us through all possible scenarios and situations. When touring homes, we were still contingent on the sale of our condo and she was very clear with us that it would be hard at this point in time to get an offer accepted until we were no longer contingent. We ended up submitting an offer that she called a aEUR~Hail Mary offer and even though the likelihood of said offer getting accepted was slim to none, she crafted a beautiful and competitive offer and didnt act like it was a waste of time. By some miracle, she wrote such a great offer that we won over another non contingent offer. When the listing agent asked us to tighten it up, she gave the best and most practical advice which ultimately made us win!Anne-Lise is fun to work with, honest, and absolutely amazing! Would not hesitate to work with her in the future.This was our second home purchase, but the first in the PNW. We were referred to Anne-Lise by a co-worker who had a positive experience with Reece Homes. Based on our first transaction years ago, we understood what traits we wanted to see in our realtor. We wanted someone who was honest, diligent, hard-working, personable, and experienced. Pros:+ Communication: Clear communicator. She will be 100% honest with you. No fluff here. Some people may not like that, but we appreciated knowing what we could and could not afford in a housing market that was incredibly competitive and new to us. She made the time to talk with us when we needed it whether it was early in the morning or late at night. When it came time to make an offer, Anne-Lise was able to explain complicated (to me) clauses in the contract. Anne-Lise would always return our phone calls, text messages or emails. + Professionalism: Anne-Lise was prompt to all showings and was knowledgeable about the properties. Anne-Lise was attentive to our questions and would focus on us while at the showings. She would never be on the phone with other clients while with us. We appreciated that. Based on Anne-Lises reputation and networking we were able to see a house and get our offer accepted that day. + Knowledge: Anne-Lise used market data and years of experience to guide us. She was knowledgeable about the various cities we looked at. She grew up in the area and would inform us about things only a local would know. She also had prior design experience and suggested different things that would change the look or value of the house. Based on her experience and recent sales, she knew what we had to do to get our offer accepted. Anne-Lise also checked around the properties for critical infrastructure red flags and advised us about our options. + Personality: Anne-Lise was great with our kids. Our kids are generally shy with strangers, but they were comfortable with her immediately. She never complained about our weird requests to only see houses between school hours and naps. Anne-Lise has an uplifting aura, she made our showings incredibly fun, so much so that our kids requested to see houses just so they can see Anne-Lise. Cons: - We cant look at houses on the weekends. Summary: There was no drawback working with Anne-Lise. It was not a good time to be a buyer with the escalation of home prices, but Anne-Lise stood by us for the entire process and made it an enjoyable journey back to homeownership. We would hire Anne-Lise again without a doubt.
