ZillowVERIFIED With all of the craziness that was the housing market in 2021, James was a calming voice that always returned calls, arrived on time to show us a house and gave sound advice on the properties we made offers on. James showed us at least seven or eight homes that resulted in us making offers on several of them. Prices and bidding wars were insane, and we had given up finding a house before the start of the new school year. I even called James and told him that wed tried and failed. Being retired Navy myself, I should have known that James would not take failure as an option! The very next day he called and told us about a house he was selling that the buyer had backed out of at the last minute. We looked at pictures of the property and met up with him that day to take a tour. Even though it was listed for slightly higher than our price range, my wife loved many of the things about the home and we made an offer. The sellers accepted and we closed in less than thirty days! We were able to move in the weekend before school started and my son loves going to Lakes Community High. James knows his business and will work tirelessly to help you in any way he can.

We were somewhat distraught after our home had been on the market for about 4 months and suddenly had damage that forced us to take it off the market while we completed necessary repairs. Mr. Tiernan met us at our property right away on a Saturday morning and carefully listened to our history. He walked through the house with us; carefully reviewed the damages and what we were doing to properly repair the damage, and reviewed insurance estimates. Mr. Tiernan then made recommendations to improve the marketability of our home that we followed.Our ultimate goal was to sell quickly as we had already purchased and moved into our new home in the Southeast; and were not enjoying maintaining two homes. He recommended a top dollar price that he guarantied would satisfy our goals. When repairs were completed, Mr. Tiernan and his team put our home on the market right away. We got connected with James while living in San Diego and he took the time to facetime with me so I could get a good look at the houses that peaked our interest. ZillowVERIFIED James Tiernan was amazing to work with. I began looking at homes in 2016 and for the next 2 years James was professional, honest, and helpful. I told him I was "just looking" and wasn't sure I was ready to move. Every few months I would ask him to show me a house and he was never impatient with me and did not "bother" me with constant sales pitch but would keep in touch. I looked at several homes where James pointed out things I would not have noticed, for example, old metal pipes, a bowed basement wall and a busy railroad track in the backyard hidden by trees. When I found the "perfect" house he wrote the contract the same day and came to my house in the evening to explain everything. If I had a question at 9PM, he would answer it the same evening or early the next day. I highly recommend James Tiernan as a real estate agent.

He is also aggressive in a good way as well as straightforward and honest. He came to talk to us about selling our home and arrived with a presentation and data to show us on his iPad. Not completely ready to sell yet, we contacted him when we were ready to buy. He very promptly scheduled showings. He always had his tablet to show us local data to compare to the home.
