She is quick, thorough, articulate and professional, all to a rare degree; her business acumen and technical understanding of home functions are also rare and impressive. But I think Holly's greatest strength is her emotional intelligence and the relationships she has built with other industry experts. I was widowed last year and Holly was recommended to me by my estate planner to help me through an emotionally fraught estate sale in Rolling Meadows. I felt like I had no idea what I was doing--I am not very familiar with Chicago's western suburbs and had never sold a home before, but after after my initial meeting with Holly and a review of her thorough market analysis, I felt that I had key insights that would help me get a deal done quickly. Whenever I had a question or concern, Holly got back to me within 15 minutes (I'm not kidding, she usually responded within 5 minutes). She recognized my emotional exhaustion and held my hand through every step of the selling process. At one point I thought that maybe the sale wouldn't make it past the contingency phase, but Holly was able to keep the deal together through her firm yet respectful negotiation skills. From the minute we contacted her about moving to Arlington heights she was pulling potential listing for us to see. She was also our listing agent for our townhome. She made the listing process for our townhome quick and seemless. Once she found our dream home she had us tour the house the next day and had an offer to the listing agent that night. We won in a biding war because she was our agent (facts). Our townhome had several showings and we had an offer within a couple of days of it going on the market. She came over the next day with a thorough market analysis. She told me what she would list my house for, that it would sell within seven days and what I'd get. I was very impressed so I listed it with her. She sent her staging person over, suggested some clean-up and a few minor repairs and I followed instruction. My house listed on a Tuesday, I had 15 showings that first day and 14 the next day and accepted a great offer that day. All within 32 hours! My sale closed last week, seamless and no issues whatsoever. This is what Holly does. She is realistic, a good negotiator, and cuts to the chase.
