I knew the day I met Heidi, she was good people. And everyone she has referred us to are the same. Heidi kept us informed of new properties popping up right away. We had looked at several homes before buying. Here on this side of the island, the homes are each unique and not cookie-cutter. It took more time than expected to sort out what we thought we could live with and what we actually could. After working with her for over a year, she got to know us and our wants pretty well. A home that we liked very much, that was taken off the Market, came back on a few months later. Heidi didn't hesitate to let us know the home was back up. Heidi was thorough with directions, tasks & keeping us up on dates & deadlines. There were a few challenges that popped up as they often do. Heidi was super professional & patient in handling them. I honestly couldnt say that I would have been as patient if I had to deal with them myself. Claire, her right hand gal, was and is such a great help. In the end when it came to transitioning the home, she made sure we didnt miss a beat & would follow through to help make sure all the details were done. Even after the purchase, when moving in, we didnt have some of the basics to stay comfortably the first night. Claire went above and beyond to make sure we had a good night's stay. They didnt leave us hanging once the sale closed. I knew we got a winner with Heidi & the team.

I initially contacted Heidi when I was looking for someone to help us with a property value estimate for my familys cabin on Lopez Island. Heidi was helpful and responsive when other real estate agents failed to return our calls or declined to help us. When we decided to buy our own property on Lopez, I turned to Heidi and she did not let us down. She guided us patiently through the process, which included many steps we were unfamiliar with as urban homeowners. She is plugged in locally and was able to give us referrals to local service providers who were knowledgeable and trustworthy. Though she was remote during our entire process, she was always available by email, text, or phone and responded without delay to my many questions. When there was a need for someone to be there in-person, her colleague Claire Anderson capably filled in; for instance, by attending our final walkthrough and ensuring that all requested work had been completed by the sellers. She is patient, obviously understanding that these are big decisions that you dont want to rush into. The market may create a sense of urgency but Heidi never does. It was also gratifying that Heidi trusted me. I made her jump through hoops on several properties that I either didnt get or eventually lost interest in. In one case she walked around a property on Lopez shooting video on her phone and expediting it to me. Those videos actually helped cement my decision not to go forward on that property. But Heidi treated me with respect. I knew that when the right situation arose I would pull the trigger. But she didnt know that. Still she took me seriously and eventually I did find something that really spoke to me.I could write a novella about why Heidi is an excellent broker. But it basically comes down to this.
