She broke everything down and never judged me for any questions I asked (even if they seemed like I should know the answer already). She is so kind and makes the process of finding a home personal and judgement-free. She also is so good at her job she negotiates the heck out of things- she saved me a lot of grief by guiding us in what things are worth spending money on (septic inspection!!) and where we could same a little money in the process. The cherry on top is she also has a background in architecture- so when you are looking at a home she is picking up on everything and will give you an honest assessment of if the property is worth the time/investment. We found our forever home with Heather, but if we ever wanted to buy/sell she would be the only person I would trust to do it again with.

After our offer was accepted, Heather recommended we have the septic inspection done before the general home inspection. That ended up being huge, because the septic failed inspection and response from the other side was not a solution that was close to what the situation required. Heather immediately stepped in, pushed back firmly, and worked tirelessly to negotiate a solution that actually protected us. Thank goodness she did aEUR" the septic ultimately needed a full replacement, and her guidance and persistence made all the difference. On top of being incredibly effective, Heather is genuinely one of the hardest-working people I know. Shes a lovely human, truly cares, and somehow makes a stressful process feel manageable, and even fun at times. If youre buying or selling a house, shes the only person you want in your corner.

ZillowVERIFIED Heather made no attempts to help us find a home, we did all the work and was always unavailable when we had questions or concerns. she would only show homes if it worked for her schedule and pushed us to make higher offers than we were comfortable with. She was not very honest and if she didnt like an area with a home in it she told us it was not a good place to be even after we spoke to others in the areas. I do not recommend her at all. we picked her because it looks like she sold a lot of homes but when we went through her sales list most of them are doubled so it looks like she sold more than she has.

When I say they went above and beyond for my home to sell.. when sharing how much work theyve put into my sale with friends and family they could not believe it. Shes a very active agent, buying and selling lots of homes each year, and it shows in her fine-grained knowledge about the market. Its a joy to talk to someone who immediately gets the point youre trying to raise and addresses it head-on aEUR" no muddled answer or confusion, just straightforward answers and clarifications so that were on the same page. Her communication with other agents and professionals is great aEUR" shes in frequent, short contact making sure everything is moving correctly. Heather follows through on what she says shes going to do and is very much on the ball. As if this werent enough, shes also incredibly knowledgeable about home construction! She has an eagle eye and was amazing to look at houses with aEUR" its like walking through a museum with an art historian there to give you notes if you want them. We loved being able to draw on her extensive knowledge. I dont know how many times we asked her how much a certain type of repair might cost, or whether a red flag we see is really an issue or just a cosmetic concern. Heather knows the answer! And if she doesnt, she wants to learn the answer aEUR" shes going to keep collecting knowledge forever. And shes a lifelong Vermonter, from the area, and knows great contractors. Every contractor shes recommended has a Heather-like quality aEUR" solid, detail-oriented, reliable. Shes got standards, and it shows! Heather is opinionated, and we love that aEUR" but shes a pro and doesnt impose her opinions on her clients. We ended up going for a house that was a aEURoenoaEUR? for her (for sound reasons!), and once she was sure we understood the problems she was seeing, she went full steam ahead on advocating for us in getting that house.I really cant say enough good things about Heather. On a personal level, shes charming, hilarious, and super quick. I feel like shes one of the best-suited people to their job that Ive ever met in my life.
