ZillowVERIFIEDGretchen worked phenomenal for my wife and I. As 1st-time home buyers, she walked us through every step of the buying process, and fought and pushed back for us when necessary. She never put any pressure on us, and always gave us her honest opinion. She did her best to know and understand each area we were looking in.

ZillowVERIFIED Gretchen went above and beyond in helping us purchase our first home. The price was negotiated down into our budget range and we even got a seller's concession after the inspection process. We follow Dave Ramsey's financial principles and it was wonderful to have Gretchen in our corner. There's so may other opinions and pressures in the housing market right now and it was great to have Gretchen keep us focused on what we wanted and valued. We've begun our home ownership journey with absolute peace of mind and I'm so thankful for her help to get us there.

ZillowVERIFIED Gretchen was outstanding in helping us sell our home and purchase a new home! She negotiated so well for both buying and selling and we ended up with a lot more in our bank account than expected because of her! I cannot recommend her highly enough! If we ever need to purchase or sell a home again I will absolutely choose to work with Gretchen again!

ZillowVERIFIED Gretchen was ready with 5 homes to see when we arrived from California. In this competitive real estate market, you have to react quickly. She also filled us in on the area and invited our daughter to go to youth group with her kids. Her husband Phil was involved and the process was relatively quick and simple. We love the house and the area. You won't go wrong working with her.

ZillowVERIFIED Gretchen did an amazing job helping us procure our dream home. We were skeptical if we could find a home in our budget, located in our ideal geographic region, but Gretchen championed us from the beginning. She responded to our texts and questions in a timely manner. She negotiated the best possible deal for us. Thankfully, she handled the nitty gritty details that were over our heads. We could not have bought our first home at 23 and 24 years old without her tireless effort!

ZillowVERIFIED Gretchen was truly a God-send! She is not only a consummate professional, but a caring heart in regard to the things sellers are going through during this life change. She was so helpful and encouraging during the process of leaving the home that I love , as well as family members here in North Carolina, to move south to care for my aging parents. Any time that I had a question, Gretchen was quick to respond, and also kept me informed along the way with any updates. Mine was a difficult sale due to reasons that can't be explained here, but Gretchen fought strongly for me and, using her expertise, pushed the sale through very successfully. If you are searching for a realtor who knows the area, knows the profession, and who will care about you and provide the best possible experience for you and your family, please choose Gretchen. It will be a decision you will not regret, and I will always remember her and be thankful that she crossed my path for this process. Many thanks to Gretchen and Phil!

ZillowVERIFIED Gretchen is a fantastic agent. She listed and sold our home, as well as found us a home to purchase. Our home was sold even quicker than she said it would be, and she was very patient with us in finding a home we felt most comfortable with in buying. In this market, it was her connections and knowledge of the industry that got us ahead of the game. Closing was not easy (Lender issue) but Gretchen stayed with us throughout the process, even getting on the phone with the Lending company to explain cordially, yet forcefully, the urgency and importance of the situation. Our closing would not have happened that day without her. Gretchen is unshakeable and determined; the most thorough agent I have dealt with. One we will call immediately to work with again, as well as recommend to all people we know in need.

ZillowVERIFIED Gretchen and her husband Phil are a great team! Their attention to detail, knowledge, experience, and customer responsiveness are exceptional. We live in New England and had worked with Gretchen and Phil on a previous house hunting trip in NC and when we spotted a listing we were interested we contacted them. They swung into immediate action with a bid on the house due in 3 days and we couldn't make it to see the house. They talked us through a face time tour of the house inside and out. With their knowledge of the area we were very comfortable making an offer on their recommendation and won the bid on our new house! That wouldn't have happened without them.

ZillowVERIFIED Gretchen was very informative. She answered all of my questions, was able to give me other lender info when the first wouldnt support this type of house purchase, found me a great attorney to doing closing with. The sellers agent wasnt very nice at the end and Gretchen was polite but firm as I only asked for one thing to be fixed when buying the house. She made it happen. Clear communication, very friendly.

ZillowVERIFIED Gretchen has the ability to make your home dreams a reality. She is very knowledgeable, pays attention to details, and follows up on tasks with urgency. She recently helped my wife and I find a home in the Summerfield, NC area and had previously helped my wife's sister find a home in Oak Ridge. She attended our home inspection and was able to utilize her diverse background to find details that needed to be addressed before the home closing. If you are looking for a realtor, Gretchen should be your first choice.

ZillowVERIFIED Gretchen is an exceptional realtor who redefines what it means to go above and beyond for her clients. My wife and I can honestly say that the hardest part of writing this review is finding the words to express how much Gretchen did for us and the immeasurable impact that she's had on our lives. The process of moving from our home in NJ to NC was a long and challenging one. We were leaving our hometowns and all the history and friends that we've known for our entire lives. We knew that moving was the right decision for our family but at the same time, we weren't ready to just up and leave. We knew we had to find the right house, in the right area, that could become a new home in every sense of the word. In some ways, we were probably a realtor's nightmare. We lived half a coast away, could only see houses when making a holiday trip to visit family, and weren't always sure if this was a change that we were up for. Enter Gretchen. At the time it felt as though we met her randomly but with hindsight, it was nothing short of providential. Gretchen spent over a year helping us find the right home. Her patience and diligence kept us on track even when we were overwhelmed with the process. Through countless phone calls, video walkthroughs, tons of research, and helping us figure out what we wanted our lives to look like, Gretchen never faltered; never waivered. She was in our corner every step of the way and through it all, cared enough to learn about us and how she could best help us through the change. If that wasn't enough, Gretchen also proved herself to be a savvy negotiator with a strong handle on the market. Her advice helped us navigate some fickle sellers and one mismanaged short sale (which we thankfully passed on pursuing further). In those cases, Gretchen was nothing short of tenacious and didn't let up until we had the answers we needed. This isn't our first move, though it was the most daunting. We've bought and sold houses before. We've worked with other, very good realtors. But without hesitation, we can say that Gretchen went beyond what was required; beyond what was expected. Gretchen is a rare find. We have already recommended her to friends and family and to anyone reading this, Gretchen is a realtor you can choose with confidence.
