ZillowVERIFIED I first contemplated selling my home and buying a condo about three years ago and was referred to Greg Geilman by a trusted friend. Greg quickly gave me a clear picture of market status on both sides, we did some looking, and I decided to wait. I felt no disappointment or pressure from his side. He checked in, probably six months later, but again no pressure. I always felt that he was trying to speak to my wish list, with the overlay of his market expertise. I revisited my decision a couple of times in the interim, but in June I was clear that it was the right time. I unexpectedly quickly saw the place I wanted, and after a few days we were in escrow on that property and fast forwarding the prep of my house for sale. It sold quickly and well. Then, as he'd warned me, he left on a long-planned vacation, so Rob Freedman took over shepherding me through the simultaneous 30-day escrows. Rob's expertise and efficiency kept the process moving at the necessary pace, and with the requisite precision and attention to detail. Though Greg resumed the lead when he returned ten days later, Rob continued as point person with some contracting work that had begun in Greg's absence. I'm in my new home now, from Redondo Beach to Palos Verdes Estates, and it pleases me to be in the somewhat unique position of being able to recommend each of them individually, as well as both of them as a team. They clearly bring an enormous amount of expertise, but they are also good listeners. By definition buying and/or selling a home is more than a business deal, and I felt heard, respected and supported throughout -- contractually and personally.

ZillowVERIFIED Whether you're buying or selling a home, such an even can prove to be a daunting task. I'd purchased three properties in the past but was getting ready to go through my first sale. Due to various life events as well as dealing with a very hot seller's market, I wanted to maximize my sale and had to find the best realtor for the job. Online reviews are very powerful and after interviewing three other realtors, my fiancee and I decided that Greg would be the best guy for the job. Personable, understanding of needs, and knowledgeable, those were all key components that we were looking for. Greg is very organized and knows the sale process very well. It's important to find someone that you as the seller get along with personally and I found it very easy to communicate needs and ideas to Greg. Different market conditions dictate different sales strategies and tactics. While it's important that you're on the same page as your realtor, it's also important that you carry your own knowledge into the game. Do you know what your property is worth? Have you looked at comps? Are you being realistic? What type of market are you dealing with? Is it a selelr's market? Buyer's market? Are you going to start off with a low price in a hot market in hopes of starting a bidding war? Or are you going to try to get top dollar and go straight to the top on your listing price? Most importantly, are you on the same page as your realtor as to what strategy you're going to use? Picking the right realtor is incredibly important and Greg has many different strategies and tactics for many different market situations. He has a gameplan for whichever tactic you're going to use and none of this is new to him. I highly recommend him to anyone who's looking to sell and have a meeting with him on exactly what you're looking to do. I know that you'll be very pleased with his professionalism and business sense. I wouldn't hesitate one second working with him in the future or using a referral from him. Greg's word is excellent.
