Review Glenda did an amazing job and I think we have bought about 9 houses in our lifetime - which includes a couple vacation homes so we are equipped to recognize a great realtor, which Glenda was for us. We were complex buyers for this specific purchase since we lived in the Seattle area; however, we were not planning on coming to VA to tour homes personally. We located potential homes of interest from on-line listing and Glenda made us aware of new opportunities immediately that we were not aware of ourselves. Glenda has a broad knowledge of the communities and was very helpful in deciding on which houses to proceed to actually tour by her spending time getting to know the specifics that we wanted in our new home. My son and wife who live locally spent time reviewing each of the homes we decided to pursue, the neighborhoods, the larger community, etc. with Glenda. The house we chose was not yet completely built which required decisions made remotely on all those items that go into building a house. Glenda kept us informed every step of the way and did a great job in representing us to the builder. Now consider the walk through and inspection - thanks to Glenda's coordination it went perfectly with our "kids" being our eyes and Glenda's educated eyes with all of her knowledge to guide them through the inspection. We couldn't asked for a better realtor to handle such a complex situation. We would highly recommend Glenda - and you will be happy with the extra amount of guidance and time she will provide you. Review If you are in the Roanoke area looking to sell your home, I cannot recommend Glenda enough. At our first meeting she came fully prepared with a market analysis for our home and clearly knew the Roanoke market in and out. Her number one priority was to protect us as sellers and get us the best price for our home. She was honest, friendly and always available to answer questions. She had our house on the market in 4 days from the time we signed a contract with her and we accepted an offer 3 days later. She always presented us with all of the options during negotiations but would ultimately leave the decision up to us. I cannot tell you how many times she went to bat for us. To complicate things we were working with a relocation company but she was very familiar with the intricacies of selling with them. Dont hesitate and choose Glenda to sell or buy your home!

We had certain criteria that we wanted in our new house and when we would look at houses that did not meet the criteria she would state "that's not what you said you wanted." Even one time she stated "don't comprise, you want what you want." She worked with us for months finding the right house for us. The market is very interesting right now and after several offers with no results, and about to give up, the perfect house "popped up" and everything fell into place. In 2014 I traveled to Roanoke on a house hunting trip. I had selected Glenda Morris of Long and Foster Co. to represent me as a home buyer. She spent a full week running me all over the Roanoke Valley and beyond as we searched for a home that said aEURoeYesaEUR? to me. She started each day giving me a pamphlet full of information, maps, and pictures of homes that she wanted to show me that day. I was thinking that it must have seemed like a mission impossible to Glenda, as I ended each home visited with a aEURoeI dont think soaEUR? and a aEURoeI want to see another oneaEUR?. It was the end of the fifth and final day of my house hunting trip that we drove up the winding dirt road and passed through the green gate that I said, aEURoeI think this is the oneaEUR?. Though I couldnt hear it, Glenda must have given a sigh of relief at hearing me say that. I was right, this was the one! My own little slice of paradise! Glenda had kept in touch with me through this entire time, sending me cards at various times of the year, calendars, and emails with updates on the real estate market in my area. I always knew that she was there and available to represent me if I wanted to put my property back on the market. I gave Glenda a call, she drove out to walk through my property with me and we developed a plan to sell. She provided a professional photography team to take pictures of my home and property, helped me find contractors to take care of a couple of needed repairs on the house and wrote an attractive property description for the listing. Meanwhile, I had moved out west and left Glenda to handle the details of the needed repairs, working with the contractors for me, providing me with daily reports of their work progress. She took care of each detail personally and flawlessly. Within days of the listing there were several offers, one of which went into a closing. In the process of offers to buy and all the way through the closing, Glenda took care of all the little details, things that I would have never thought of; she made the sale of my home and property a seamless transaction. Review When I decided to move back to this area, I went online to see recommendations for realtors. Glenda had received many positive reviews, so I contacted her to help me find a home. All the reviews I read were spot on. She has been so helpful. I let her know what I was looking for in a house for me and my parents, and she started looking. Every night she would schedule me to see 3 houses after I finished work, and we would look at all of them. Anytime I had a question, she would answer it or find someone who could. Review I am not surprised that Glenda has an average rating of 5.0. She helped us buy our current home in the very turbulent market that presented itself in 2021, and she helped us maximize the value we got for selling our previous home afterwards. As our Buyers' Agent, she took our list of requirements and helped us find the right potential homes. She was VERY responsive and ready to go show us houses at our convenience, not hers. In a turbulent market, we needed that quick response so we could act quickly. In a market where most listing are generating multiple offers, her relationship with the Listing Agent helped us avoid a bidding war for the home we purchased. As our Listing Agent, she was helpful through the whole process from helping us identify improvements we could make to increase our value, to helping us sort out the multiple offers we received.
