ZillowVERIFIED We were fortunate enough to have Gana recommended to us by close friends. Gana, as a realtor, is an outlier. His breadth of knowledge about homes is outstanding. Our first few days of showings was spent as teacher and students... he took us to multiple homes educating us on various types of homes, differences in location, more of the 200/300 level info. After spending these few days picking his brain and him picking ours to help narrow down our needs / wants, we were gratified in selecting Gana as our realtor. Eventually, after about 11 months of working with Gana, we found our home! We spent almost EVERY weekend looking at homes. Gana spent almost EVERY weekend showing us homes! Throughout this time, we never felt any pressure from Gana, he never pushed us to change our minds on any of our needs/wants. Gana, was never tired of us (I am picky). ZillowVERIFIED I am not sure where to begin describing the excellent service we received from Ginny while searching and buying our new home! Right from the start, she treated us as if we were old friends. After our first 2 meetings, she formed a firm idea of what we were looking for. This included house style and features that would make both my wife and me happy - which in no way was going to be easy! Her knowledge and expertise were precious during this process, which helped point out the details we were not seeing while being blinded by the excellent staging finishes of the sellers. Ginny asked the right leading questions, which allowed us to come to our own conclusions instead of just being told we should or shouldn't do something. Through our time together, we worked towards 3 properties in total. The first fell through after the inspection, which is where Ginny's natural prowess was shown. She has a keen eye for detail and has the right contact for every job. The inspection team that she brought to the table was extensive and could poke holes through all the cosmetic work that was done to that particular property. She deftly navigated all the necessary conversations and negotiations, which allowed us to just sit back and enjoy the ride. When the first house fell through (thankfully in retrospect), Ginny was texting us morning and night with more houses - some that weren't even officially on the market yet! She had her ear to the ground with other realtors and sellers, making sure we knew everything possible while looking at a house. When we finally narrowed down the list to our last 2 homes, she could get us some of the inside scoops into what the sellers wanted to do. This worked in our favor as we avoided a bidding war for a property that, in the end, went far above market assessment and value.Ginny became our most valuable asset once we started the closing process on our home. She was in contact with all of the required parties from both sides - which we learned were a lot of people! Ginny made signing documents easy and pain-free, stepping in to take care of all aspects instead of leaving everything on us. The timing of this fell when work was getting hectic for both my wife and me, so we greatly appreciated that she was willing to help drive this closing process. If we had more time, I know she would gladly have let us get our hands dirty if we so chose. The day of the closing was the Cherry on top! We met at the house for a final walkthrough. She thoughtfully had prepared a rather large "Welcome Home" basket for us filled with practical items we immediately put to use! We had a few-week period between our house and rental, which allowed us to slowly move in - so these essentials were perfect for us! We honestly couldn't have found someone as attentive as Ginny if we tried. During this process, I know we were priority number one - which is impressive since we were not her only clients at this busying buying time. Our previous realtor wasn't really getting the job done quickly enough to our satisfaction since we were under the gun to close on our house in the city in just a couple months. We inquired with some colleagues of ours about an agent who was a little more fast paced. We were referred to a Naperville agent who quickly said Ginny was who we needed ( we were looking more in the surrounding areas,not Naperville). Boy was she right. Ginny is very personable and moves at a very rapid pace while still maintaining a personal feel. She took us to areas we didn't even know we'd be interested in and they were all great! Within 2 weeks she had found us the home of our dreams in Wheaton. She advised us on how to get the house without overpaying.
