It has been an amazing experience working with Get Happy at Home. I do not live in WA where I would like to either have a second home or relocate. I had to look for a real estate agent remotely. After searching all over SeattleaEUR"from West Seattle, to Queen Anne, to BallardaEUR"I fell in love with a beautiful water view home in North Beach (Olympic Manor), north of Ballard. I couldn't be happier with my 1950's mid-century rambler. Ryan guided me carefully throughout the process. He helped me understand the pros and cons of different Seattle neighborhoods and home types. When touring, he was quick to point out potential challenges with each home, including structural and maintenance concerns that I never would have noticed on my own. His knowledge of the Seattle real estate market is unmatchedaEUR"for every house, he was able to accurately predict the level of buyer interest it would have and the price it would sell for. It was uncanny! He steered me away from many homes that looked beautiful but, in truth, wouldn't have fit my needs in the long run. When I did settle on a home, he was sure to get an expert home inspection right away, before I wrote my offer. Because of this, I was able to go into the offer process eyes wide open and waive my inspection contingency. Ryan deftly read the situation on offer review day. After surmising that the home may have been priced too aggressively to receive multiple offers, Ryan convinced me to take a chance and write an offer below list price. He somehow intuited that the sellers would be willing to negotiate due to their specific circumstances and why they were selling. Well, it worked! I got my home for $50,000 under list price even though it had been on the market only 5 days. Quick notes: Ryan was also able to put me in touch with a fabulous local lender who handled some financing complications with ease and grace. We ended up with a great interest rate and felt truly taken care of throughout the process. Ryan's knowledge of construction matters and access to the Get Happy at Home Contracting team allowed me to make smart decisions about home fixes and updates after closing. I honestly couldn't be more thrilled. My experience with the Get Happy at Home Team is that they are honest, skilled, and just genuinely fun to be around. I wouldn't suggest anyone else to work with as a home buyer in the Seattle area!

My husband and I would recommend working with the GHAH team 1,000 times over. As first time home buyers, we had no idea where to begin with the search, financing, and buying process. Ryan made it super easy. He listened to the hyperspecific things on our wish list and maybe, possibly as a form of magic (?), pulled houses that checked nearly every box out of thin air. Hes knowledgeable about the construction specs of a house that a buyer should care about (read: things that might get pricey). He went the extra mile (often literally) to crawl around the houses to find out what would be our best investment. Marta was so organized and made the closing process as seamless as possible.
