ZillowVERIFIED As a real estate investor, I have worked with a ton of very good realtors over the years, but George stands out as one of the top agents we have ever worked with. He is incredibly professional and knowledgable. We've leaned on George's industry experience many times to help guide us on several of our deals over the years. On top of that he is an incredible salesman and negotiator. I've watched him negotiate great buys for us and get us top dollar on homes we have sold. What I appreciate most about working with George is that he also keeps the process fun and engaging, which helps keep the stress of buying and selling homes from taking over. He is a terrific agent and great person to work with. I cannot recommend him highly enough. He goes the extra mile for his clients!

ZillowVERIFIED George is not only an incredible realtor, he is an amazing person as well. He helped us find our dream home and for that we are forever grateful. He took us under his wing from day one, and shared his plethora of knowledge on everything revolving around purchasing a home. This helped us so much in figuring out what we wanted and finding exactly that. He is such a people person, which was not only amazing because hes enjoyable to be around in all the time we spent with him seeing houses, but also because of how he dealt with the realtors on the other end in terms of making sure our voice was heard. His skills in communication and negotiation not only made it so our offer was accepted, but helped enormously in the escrow and closing period as well. Thank you George for all that you did for us!!! Highly, highly recommend!!!

ZillowVERIFIED Georges vast experience and great negotiation skills helped us sell our condo in a tough downtown San Diego market. From our first meeting through closing, George was super transparent, always available to answer questions, and took care of every detail in the process, something we greatly appreciated as we were out of state. After we moved the listing to George, he worked with us to reprice the condo, staged it effectively, and sold the property within a month. I strongly recommend George for his great communication and instincts, positive energy, and thorough professionalism.

ZillowVERIFIED We were so lucky to have George help us buy our first home! Two of our friends had purchased their beautiful homes with George, so choosing him was an easy decisionaEUR"and we are so glad we did. George was incredibly warm, responsive, patient, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. He never pressured us to make an offer just to win, and he always took the time to carefully discuss the right price and make sure we felt comfortable with every decision and document. Even with our last-minute questions and concerns, he was always there to help and quickly stepped in when we needed him. He constantly reminded us to be patient and trust the process, and after about two months, we found a home we truly love. Everyone he recommended to us was also professional, knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with, which gave us even more confidence in George and his network. We truly enjoyed working with George and would absolutely recommend him to our friends and family. We are very grateful for everything he did to help us find our first home!

ZillowVERIFIED George Bukes has been my agent for years, and the sale of my Tierrasanta home is a good example of why I keep going back to him. We listed in a market that had clearly softened, and George still brought me two buyers. Instead of taking the first offer, he ran a disciplined process and put both buyers in a position to compete, which got me a full-price sale with the inspection and appraisal contingencies waived. We were in escrow fast and closed clean. What I appreciate most is that he does the unglamorous parts well. Disclosures, contract language, exclusions, escrow timelines. He caught details before they became problems and he was reachable every time I had a question. He tells me what he actually thinks, not what he thinks I want to hear. I have referred friends to George and will keep doing it. If you are buying or selling in San Diego, he is the person I would call.

ZillowVERIFIED This man truly went above and beyond throughout my entire home-buying journey. I was dealing with a difficult transition, relocating from Texas to California with a lot of tight timelines and unexpected challenges. Despite that, he never missed a beat. While I was still in Texas, he stepped in and helped coordinate post-tenant inspections on the property in California, something that wasnt even part of his core responsibilities. Time and time again, he took on issues that werent his to solve and handled them without hesitation. He was always available, always responsive, and always had a solutionaEUR"whether it was connecting me with a property manager, arranging maintenance help, or simply guiding me through the next step. I always felt like he had my back. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and cares deeply about the people he works with. I couldnt have asked for a better person to help me through this process! George has my highest recommendation!

ZillowVERIFIED I have been very fortunate to have found George on Zillow to help find my new home. George will give you his honest opinion on what he believes a home is worth and will fight for you to get the best possible offer achievable. He got me a killer deal on a beautiful condo allowing me to afford the down payment as well as gave me recommendations to mortgage companies that were able to get me the lowest interest rate making it easier to make monthly mortgage payments. I cannot thank George enough for the support, care, and knowledge he bestowed on me during the entire escrow process. Will refer to all my friends and use him for future home purchases. 10/10 rating!

ZillowVERIFIED I had an outstanding experience working with George. He sold my house in just 6 days at my full asking price and managed to close escrow in only 21 days. At the same time, he helped me purchase another home for well under the asking price--all within the same tight timeframe. George was incredibly responsive, always available by call or text, day or night. His dedication, expertise, and efficiency made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. I highly recommend anyone in the market--whether buying or selling--to work with George. You won't be disappointed. My family and I very grateful to have had this journey with George. ZillowVERIFIED George did an awesome job getting us into our beautiful home. We had really high expectations and he was able to deliver. He was in constant communication with us and was always on top of following up and getting back to us immediately. ZillowVERIFIED We just completed our 3rd transaction with George, the first of which was 7 years ago when he gave our baby (now almost 8yr old) a tickle me Elmo when we closed the deal! Why we keep coming back to George is because he genuinely cares about his clients. It's not just about closing a deal for him; it's about making sure you're getting the absolute best outcome. He does everything to negotiate the ideal terms, and has this incredible ability to help you see beyond the initial excitement. If you're looking for a realtor who is dedicated, savvy, and truly invested in you, George is beyond amazing! He's truly an advisor you'll want on your side.

ZillowVERIFIED I don't think George is experienced and competent enough to defend your rights. He lacks enough local experience to provide you with negotiation skills. As our seller's agent, he accepted and trusted all the requests from the other party's agent. Assisted them in convincing us to accept the terms... As a result, I lost nearly $3000 in the process of selling my home, even though it was said "as is" at the beginning. At this point, I strongly recommend not to choose him as your agent, whether you are a seller or a buyer.

ZillowVERIFIED Working with George was an incredible experience for us as first time home buyers. He walked us through the purchasing process with patience and honesty, even advising us multiple times when counter offers were beginning to outweigh the value of a home. He was attentive and answered all of our questions with prompt and detailed responses. When we were traveling and unable to view a property, he went to the viewing himself at shot us videos. In addition to being honest, patient and attentive, George also has connections with high quality lenders, home inspectors and contractors, all of whom go above and beyond to provide excellent service. We knew from the beginning that George?s primary objective was not just to get us into any property, but a quality home that fit our layout, location preferences and budget. Home buying can obviously be a stressful undertaking, but if you wish to be supported, heard and surrounded by quality people the whole way through, I can?t recommend enough getting into contact with George and his team.
