He is soooo knowledgeable about all the different neighborhoods, is extremely relatable and professional, truly experienced, very responsive 24/7, and overall just an amazing person to work with!! I was a first-time homebuyer and understandably so, very nervous about the whole process. I was also working against an extremely tight deadline when my apartment lease was about to end in less than 3 months. After sitting down with Geoff one afternoon, we talked about my budget, what I was looking for in a house, and the neighborhoods that I was interested in. Geoff heard me on everything and came up with a solid game plan, and then we were off to house showings and open houses every week. Geoff is dedicated to YOU, and he works for YOU. Not once during this whole journey did I ever feel like Geoff wasnt trying to find the perfect home for me. During and after each house that we saw, we would have a debrief on the pros and cons. On a few occasions, when I was on the fence about something, Geoff would actually tell me to not compromise on what I wanted and instead to move on. I also had so many questions and I was ALWAYS able to reach out to him, no matter the time or day (sorry for interrupting so many of your dinners!). When it came time to make an offer, Geoff was also extremely patient with me, went through the entire contract with me and answered all my questions. ZillowVERIFIED As first-time homebuyers, we felt pretty overwhelmed in the Northern Virginia market. We met Geoff Giles at an open house and quickly felt he was knowledgeable about the Fairfax and Burke communities we were primarily interested in. He helped us feel comfortable with the seasonality of listings and when to expect things to heat up (I.e. when we wanted to be under contract by). He was able to put in an offer for us within hours of impulsively calling him on a Sunday night, and we were under contract that week. He was also very understanding with our requests for a home inspection and finance contingencies - we never felt we were being strong armed into waiving anything we'd be uncomfortable with. ZillowVERIFIED There arent enough words to say how awesome Geoff is. We were first time homebuyers looking to buy just as interest rates were starting to go up and the market was shifting. We were nervous but Geoff made it a great experience. He has a deep knowledge of northern Virginia and there isnt anywhere hes not willing to go. We didnt know where we wanted to buy and Geoff drove all over with us. He also recommended a couple of great options for lenders, one of whom we ended up using and also had a great experience. We were able to get into a home that we love in an amazing neighborhood at a price and interest rate that we were comfortable with. Geoff was able to allow us to keep all of our contingencies, which saved us several thousand dollars when an issue was found and he got the sellers to cover it. From our initial meeting with him, we could tell that he was dedicated to helping us and we feel lucky to have been paired with him. After speaking with him for just a few minutes we could tell that Geoff would be the one to help us find our dream home.
