ZillowVERIFIED We have never had a greater experience than working with Fred hall! I actually called Fred's office in desperation after working with a previous realtor who had let us down. Fred reassured me that he would work for me as the buyer and help us find the home of our dreams.... and he did just that!!! He met us quickly after contacting him to show us three homes we were interested in. He took the time to help show us the homes, showed us things that could be problem areas, and positives of them homes. Then when we decided which home was perfect for us he went to bat for us to get the best price for our home. He was in constant communication with us and we always felt up to date during the process. Then to top it all off, the day we signed on our new home we got to our new home realizing that the seller had left tons of trash and furniture all over the house. Fred us met us the very next morning, even though he didn't have to, and made sure that it would be taken care of. Couldn't recommend a better realtor than Fred!!!! We will recommend him to all of our friends and family!

ZillowVERIFIED While I consider myself to be business minded and had a good idea of what I wanted and needed, I recognized that buying your first home can become emotionally charged. As a single mother I needed to make a good decision based on a good balance of wants, needs, and financial balance to make my familys dreams of homeownership come true. I did my research and took the approach of interviewing my realtor before selecting someone to work with. I selected a handful of local realtors based on online reviews to send a short list of general questions about their services. Of the realtor I contacted only three responded. After further inquiry, without commitment, only Fred Hall continued to respond. Fred was patient while I explained the various things I wanted and needed, prompt when answering my question via e-mail and text messages, and flexible when scheduling home tours. He only showed me homes that meet my criteria and his concern for my familys wellbeing always came before effort to sell a home. After seeing 15+ homes, I selected the first home I looked. When I expressed my regret for need to make sure I saw all viable options before selecting my home, Fred insisted that my peace of mind was what was most important. Fred was such a pleasure to work with my family and I have since contacted him to navigate the waters of a short sale, to facilitate the purchase of a new home when our family outgrew our first home, and most recently to help us relocate our parents. He spent hours carting my husband and I all over Roanoke, out to Blue Ridge, and back without complaint. He was flexible with our crazy schedules and our pickiness. When it came to the nerve racking contract signing, he covered everything from finding missings on the sellers end (that would have cost us severely) to working late to meet us between our work schedules. He's kept up with us after the sale to make sure our new home is everything we've wanted. What's most important is Fred's character. In fifty years of dealing with realtors in a dozen states, I've never met a better realtor.We met Fred when we asked to see one of his listed properties, and he responded on-the-fly to our requests to see a few others, some not his, nor from his agency. He asked that we open a buyer's agent contract, but did not press the point, respecting our wishes to remain independent of him. Even without that contract, he showed us half a dozen homes and offered good insights into their relative value.. We learned rapidly to appreciate his style and substance -- both A+. When we finally found a house that we liked, we signed him up as our buyer's agent to work the buying negotiation and shepherd us through the purchase process. (We are not inexperienced in this, having bought and sold half a dozen properties in the last fifteen years.)
