He helped me understand the market and had a lot of helpful hints, one of which led me to looking at properties that were above my target price but had been on the market for a while. He showed me the one that I bought along with a few others. His advice that it was easy to add mini splits to air condition a property heated by a boiler helped me make my final decision. Fred was also great helping me navigate the somewhat complicated paperwork process that comes with buying a house. He was there explaining a few odd items that came up during inspection and requests to keep things from the seller. He made that process easy, which I have heard from several friends is not always the case. Overall, I can't recommend Fred strongly enough.

Sold house quickly. Faster than I thought at the price I anticipated. Fred did not seem to be too confident the house would sell at that price for its location and not meeting the appraisal mark. But it did. The buyers were problematic, did not close as noted in the contract among other things. I don't know if he could have pushed harder to meet the time frame and requested additional costs to myself ( taxes, utilities, insurance and interest on the house) because of the buyer's delays. He did not.

ZillowVERIFIED Fred was excellent from the start. We saw a sign, called the number and Fred answered. We made an appointment to meet an hour or so later. Fred took the time to learn of our needs and through a series of questions he was able to narrow down a number of houses. He emailed a number of listings that he thought would meet our needs and out of those we (my wife and I) choose 5 to follow up on. After making our selection, Fred led the way getting us through all the paperwork. Through his expertise, knowledge, and responsiveness we were able to close on our new home expeditiously and painlessly. Fred's interactions with his colleagues definitely speak to his leadership abilities. On numerous occasions Fred went far and above all our expectations. His personal commitment to his clients is commendable. I would personally recommend Fred without any reservations. To us he is a giant in the real estate industry.

ZillowVERIFIED as soon as I called him ,we set up a meeting to meet at My Mom's house( which needed to be sold to help her transition to a nursing home) Fred explained all the details and expenses involved with selling a house and described how he would list it, and involve his co realtors at Howard Hanna and other realtors so my Mom's house would be accessible to as many people as possible. Within the first week he was showing the house and giving feedback. He also looked around and helped me make a list of must do handyman repairs and also suggested I purchase insurance incase appliances or furnace broke or the roof leaked within the first year due to no ones fault and since my mother had dementia and might not be aware of any potential problems with the house. Fred encouraged me not to overvalue the house but yet he did not encourage definite low ball bids,either. I think we were both realistic and the result was the I signed the closing papers 30 days after that first visit that Fred came to see the house. we got $2,999 less that listed price but this was $2,500 over assessed tax value, and since my mother had just entered a nursing home, she saved thousands of dollars in monthly utilities and insurance expenses that she would have paid if the sale had taken even 3 more months to sell.
