I tasked Emily with the impossible: find me my dream condo in the hottest Seattle market and do it in less than a month. After the first day of showings, she was relentless. She kept driving up from Tacoma on the slightest whim that something might be the right fit. She braved rush hour i5 traffic for a singular showing, 2 days in a row. And thank god she did, because that 2nd showing was it. She sent me the listing at midnight the night before, proving how she works around the clock. We saw it, and 20min later we were submitting our offer. I was out of town and she supervised the inspection and handled absolutely everything for me. I couldn't think of a better agent I'd like on my side to handle such a monumental milestone in my life.

I only had one week to visit WA and decide on a home. Emily took my preferences and ran with them. She located 5 to 6 homes for me to initially assess. It's been 30 years since I last bought a home. This time around wound up very satisfying due to the capability, effort, intelligence and personality of Emily Tharp. I had tried working with a number of other Realtors for almost a year before discovering Emily who was the listed agent on one of the properties that I looked at. On that day it became apparent that she had an above typical understanding of VA financing and veterans who use it. Unlike a number of other agents that I had tried to work with but who had little ability to deal with things outside of typical and would only send me properties to look at from a limited computer filter that did not fit my interests well. Emily was a joy to work with thanks to her focus and comprehension regarding instructions and specifics pertaining to my list of wants and must haves for my property, it's type, location and function etc. Emily possesses a quick wit and an engaging personality that made communicating and working with her to locate and acquire our new home very enjoyable and productive. As a veteran I was pursuing VA qualified properties and I was pleased to discover that she has been building a skill set and contacts that really are of benefit to veterans. Emily put me in contact with a mortgage broker and veteran with a calling that specializes in assisting and educating veterans. Among other programs and veteran help activities, (he literally teaches a course) on the reality of mortgage financing including but not limited to VA financing and how to obtain the greatest value. After some further comparison shopping and earlier game playing by some other VA lenders he became my broker. They make a hell of a team!Emily is on top of today's technologies computers, email, texts etc. and it was always easy to stay in contact and updated with her even while she was on vacation in Hawaii. She stayed on top of things!
