ZillowVERIFIED Emily knew house well by meeting with the sellers' family multiple times at the residence. The first meeting was to get to know each other and determine fit, next was to review materials of the presentation for selling the home, numbers associated with the listing price, common fees, etc.. I signed an agreement contract for six months so that their office had the summer to sell the house and I could move on if needed. Several contacts with her office led to establishing a date for putting the property/house on the market. She kept me up to date and her strategies led to multiple offers and a quick bidding war above the asking price. We sold the house within three months of the listing and would gladly use Emily and her office again.

Emily was by far the best - made us realize what we had been missing in our prior experiences - which were by no means bad. She was organized, knowledgeable, efficient, responsive and always available. She had just the right combination of trying to help us see a place, think through pluses and minuses, but at the same time be unobtrusive so we felt free to explore and imagine living there ourselves. She was super knowledgeable about the Hudson Valley market on the whole, but also had good on-the-ground awareness of multiple neighborhoods/areas (especially on the west side of the river, where we focused our search between Woodstock/Saugerties down to New Paltz/Accord). And if she ever didn't know the answer to one of our questions off the top of her head, she was honest about it and always found the answer for us quickly. Beyond her market/regional savvyness, what I appreciated about Emily the most was how kind and gracious she was with us as first-time buyers. She took care to understand the specific needs and hopes of our family well, so she knew when to fight for us to see a certain property, or when we could let something go. We really grew to trust and even rely on her judgment. We almost skipped looking at houses the weekend we found THE ONE, but she had a strong instinct that this property was going to work for us. I'm so glad she gave us that nudge. (To be clear, she was never ever pushy throughout our search, which made it all the more interesting when she told us we should see this one!) And of course, she was right. We ended up buying, and are so so glad we did. Crucially, during the whole buying process, from mortgage approvals to inspections to closing, and all the negotiations in between, she continued to be a great resource, and made everything feel just a little less scary. We eagerly recommend Emily to anyone we know who's even considering looking at real estate along the Hudson. She's a gem, and made us feel like we were in good hands from start to finish.
