Review Ellen Williams is a fantastic realtor! My husband and I had to sell my mothers house after she passed away, and we live 125 miles from the Chicago suburbs. We also had not sold a house before. Ellen walked us through the process and provided contacts for every service provider we needed. All the providers were reasonably priced and did a good job. She also personally took care of any details that would have required us to be at the house so we didnt have to travel. If any problems came up, she helped us solve them, and she always gave good advice on renovation options. When it came time for the sale, Ellen attracted a lot of interested buyers for the house, and we got a good final price. I would recommend her services to anyone.

She met with us the same week, carefully walked through the selling process with us and advised what we should address around the house to sell quickly. She even saved us money by advising that some things we planned to do would not be necessary to sell the house. She helped tremendously by letting in cleaners to thoroughly clean the house, movers to quote our move and appraisers/inspectors after receiving a contract while we were at work. Best of all, should sold our house the night BEFORE it officially went on the market and for FULL asking price. Review Moving to an area that we knew nothing about is extremely stressful and the realtor is the first point of reference for the area. We feel we hit the jackpot by finding Ellen. We had very specific ideas about what we wanted in a house AND even more specific was the radius in which we wanted to live. We knew finding the perfect house would be difficult and it was. However, Ellen's patience with our parameters was unlimited. Even when we got frustrated she would calm our nerves and assure us that everything would work out for us. We encountered many obstacles in the process and she was always there to help us get through them - even the ones that were over and above the realm of a realtor. If you want expertise, a person who returns phone calls in a VERY timely manner, trustworthy and professional, then Ellen is the realtor to call.
