That didnt work out, but Mikes office kept in touch, so when we decided to move to the area as our primary place of residence, Mike was the man to turn to. He then far and away exceeded all expectations. We have a standard of comparison: this is the 7th house weve bought. We had two really good agents along the way, but Mike is by far the best! He showed us house after house in three counties, driving many miles in-between without complaint. He paid attention to our budget, to our likes and dislikes. As we honed our search, he as able to give us helpful suggestions. Mike was able to answer any question we had, no matter what topic. He made himself available to us at all times. He put thought and analysis into any recommendation we needed. Mike came prepared to our interview and he answered a ton of questions that we had concerns about as we were selling a home over a hundred years old. We knew we had some repairs to do and he referred us to an amazing contractor. When he created the listing and marketing material for our property, we were amazed at the amount of detail that he included in the listing that made our house unique. Within the first week we had an offer so we knew our price point was a good one. Mike guided us through our offers and he was never disappointed when we declined one. Once we had a buyer-and it was a full price offer-Mike worked tirelessly day and night through the process and always answered our text messages and phone calls even when it was late in the evening. And we had many! Mike was very patient with us. He counseled us on renovations we needed to make and even had design suggestions. We took his advice and went to work. ZillowVERIFIED Needing a realtor pretty quickly for a relocation, I found Ellen Butters through a web search. After reading the reviews, I decided to contact her to see if she would be available to help. She responded immediately to my emails and was very professional with her communication. She cleared her schedule for the weekend that Id be in town, and we, along with Cathy Dunkle, looked at close to 20 homes in a two-day period. While this was pretty exhausting, we had an enjoyable time looking at the homes that Culpeper had available. By the end of the weekend, I had placed an offer on a home and we closed within the month. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Ellen listens to what you want, promptly schedules what fits your likes and does not try to force her preferences on you. I hope to not move again for a long time, but if I do, Ellen or Cathy will be my first choices. Thank you for making a daunting task run so smoothly!

We had many challenges in selling our Mother s Land. At one point he guided us with a buyer that had a sketchy way of doing business. If I called or e-mailed Ellen or Michael, I always got a timely response in return. We were never left wondering why they werent getting back to us or what was going on at that time in the process.When there was any concern that an issue might arise during the closing process, the Butters always made themselves available to be at our house, which was an hour from their office, even when they were busy.The Butters were respectful, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and were all these things with the other sides agents, as well.
