We bought our home in September and officially moved in on October 3rd. The buying process was incredibly stressful, and unfortunately, our experience with Dewayne as our realtor added to that stress. From the beginning, we told Dewayne that we needed an offer with no closing costs, as we would have to pay to break our lease. Despite this, he submitted an offer without first consulting our mortgage loan officer. After the numbers were finalized, we ended up owing several thousand dollars at closing aEUR" something we specifically said we wanted to avoid. I always have been told throughout the process that the real estate agent and mortgage loan officer usually work closely together, but in our case, that didnt happen. During the inspection process, we asked for several repairs. Many of these requests were denied or crossed out, and we didnt feel that Dewayne strongly advocated for us. There was a noticeable lack of a aEURoefight for your clientaEUR? mentality. To add to the concern, Dewayne didnt even attend the first inspection aEUR" someone else from his team showed up. Weve now lived in the home for only three weeks, and were already facing multiple issues: aEURc The AC unit failed and will cost $4,000 to repair. aEURc The dishwasher doesnt work properly and needs to be replaced. aEURc There was a hole in the siding that the sellers were supposed to fix, but it was missed during the final walk-through. aEURc The backyard had trash and debris, which the sellers originally agreed to remove, but later crossed off. We had to hire someone ourselves to clean it up. This has been a series of disappointments, and we feel let down by the lack of thoroughness and representation. While Dewayne is technically a realtor, we did not feel truly supported in this process. Based on our experience, we would not recommend working with him.

When there were disagreements about certain verbiage in documents, Dwayne was patient and worked through some tough situations without breaking a sweat.
