He helped us to make important decisions about when to accept or turn down a home based on inspection reports and when and how much to put up for offers. We ran into a problem where the seller did not disclose everything they were legally required to and Don has stayed with us to get this problem resolved (I just talked to him today 11/13/24). He is knowledgeable about not only the buying and selling process but also in details of home construction. For an example of the latter, he was only one of the 3 who correctly identified the source of a leak in a basement water pipe, which was easily repaired by a plumber before the house was listed for sale.Don gave us solid advice about what to upgrade or repair in the house my brother and I were selling (this was my mother's house, and the house we grew up in many years ago) and what to leave as is. He was always readily available by phone or email to answer my questions and concerns (no long waits for callbacks or email replies).Don is a no-nonsense, straight-to-the-point person with a great sense of humor. We wanted the house priced realistically, and Don was able to deliver 5 offers within about a week. Had it not been for her efforts, I would not have purchased the new property. Subsequent to moving into my new house I chose to sell a condominium where I previously resided. Nicole and Don met with me and initiated the process. I had two offers within a few days of the open house and had signed sale papers within the week. We were first time house buyers and a little lost at times. Everyone on the team was incredibly helpful!! They are very honest and truly want you to get the best home that you can! Even throughout negotiating our contract, Don would tell us when something was a good deal and when we should ask for more. We worked closely with Don and one of his team members, Kim. They were available any time we needed them or had a question. Don even drafted an offer for us late on Saturday night. We spoke. The agent(s) did some research and called me a few days later to let me know they couldn't/wouldn't help. It wasn't big enough for their efforts (that meant they couldn't make much money on it).A few days later I received an email from Don. He also requested information so he could do some research. He got back to me in a day and was happy to help. He was very familiar with the area. He went an visited the lot and accessed it. Don advised me on pricing and marketing. He was extremely thorough. I then made a visit (already planned before all this) and Don was courteous enough to take time to meet me and we went over surveys and other items regarding the property. I had full confidence this would get done.And it did. He marketed it and within a couple of weeks we had an offer. He negotiated extremely well and we settled on a price.
