This was my first home purchase and I used my VA home loan benefit. The mortgage lender I used for the VA home loan referred me to Desiree Burgnon as she specializes in assisting home buyers using the VA loan. She knows and understands the requirements when buying a home using the VA home loan benefit. I felt compelled to do a review because of the high level of service I received throughout my home buying experience. I was fortunate in that I had a house in mind that I was interested in purchasing. Desiree promptly researched the information on the home so we could discuss if it was really a suitable home for me based on what we initially discussed that I was looking for in a home. After she showed me the home and we discussed the pros and cons of the home I decided it would be a great choice for a first home. Having someone guide you through pros and cons and things you might not have considered when deciding on whether or not a home is right for you is invaluable and this is one of the many reasons I am so grateful to have had Desiree as my real estate agent for my first home buying experience. Throughout the process from the first initial phone consultation to making the offer to escrow to closing Desiree displayed a high level of expertise, attention to detail, and was always there to answer my questions. Five years later I had moved out of state and was using the home as a rental. I decided to sell it recently and called up Desiree. All while I was out of state, she worked around my tennant who was moving out and helped me find good subcontractors to fix up the place where it was needed. There were not surprises, not worries, and with a cash buyer we closed seamlessly in 15 days. Desiree has a can-do attitude, has a great feel for the market, and knows the area well. I would recommend Desiree if you're buying or selling.
