ZillowVERIFIEDWorking with Derek was a pleasure. From the beginning to the end of the process he was on the ball and doing everything he could to ensure I get the best price for my place. He showed a level of interest and maintained a "hands-on" approach that is rare for realtors. I would give 6 stars if I could.

ZillowVERIFIED Derek sold my single family home in south Minneapolis for significantly above asking price after less than a day on the market. The breadth of knowledge and expertise that Derek and his team bring is unmatched in this industry. I go to Derek with all of my real estate questions and needs, and he promptly helps me with all of my housing needs (Selling, buying, research). He calls every couple of months to check up on me, and is always available to help.I cant say enough about how professional and fantastic Derek and his team are. I would highly recommend Derek for any real estate needs.

ZillowVERIFIED Derek was available at the drop of a hat, for tours, negotiations and updates. I never felt as if I had to follow up with him. He seemed to have a good relationship between agents, which helped with negotiations and clarity of the entire sale. He was hands on and always came for any tours, walk throughout or second (or third) visits. The process was explained with ease and he even helped work through questions that I had, for and with me, on the financial side. All while maintaining a great sense of humor and Professionalism

ZillowVERIFIED Derek is patient, knowledgeable and dedicated! We would happily refer him to any of our friends and family knowing how hard he worked to help us find our forever home. After changing our minds a few times on what our "deal breakers" were, Derek listened and acted immediately. His experience and expertise in remodeling and renovating homes was so helpful when looking at older homes. He's also incredibly pleasant to work with and is an all around down-to-earth guy; this important when you're spending many of your weekends touring houses with your agent! If you're on the fence with choosing a realtor, you can't go wrong with Derek.

ZillowVERIFIED Derek did an absolutely amazing job from start to finish. We unexpectedly launched negotiations while he was on vacation, he handled all the communications and guided us through the process despite the time difference and prior engagements. Our offer was accepted in just a few days and he made the remainder of the process as smooth as possible. A+

ZillowVERIFIED I was new to the area and got matched up with Derek randomly through my lender, so I wasnt sure what to expect. I was a difficult client because I wasnt very flexible in my schedule as I lived hours out of town. Not only was Derek incredibly accommodating with my schedule, he was also very helpful throughout the entire process in getting me into the perfect house for me. In addition, I really appreciated Dereks honesty and integrity in the home buying process. This was my best experience working with a realtor yet. I will be recommending Derek to my friends and family in the future.

ZillowVERIFIED Buying a home is a process that is stressful, exciting, and a new experience for many. We were first time home buyers looking for a starter home in a difficult market. Derek was so supportive, informative, and honest. His response time and communication was greatly appreciated since we had a deadline to find a new home before our lease was up. Derek was positive and assured us that he would be able to find us the perfect family home. We were able to see many houses on the same day. I would highly recommend Derek for your family. He made sure that everyone loved the property including our five year old son. A wonderful man we couldn't be happier with our new home. We plan on using him again in the future. By far the Best Realtor in Minnesota!

ZillowVERIFIED Derek was very helpful in finding me a new home in a short time period. Very flexible and accommodating to individual circumstances, and responsive to any concerns/questions. We had about a week to find something, and Derek worked very hard to help make it happen. Friendly, easy to talk to, and helped anytime we needed him from the beginning of the search to even after we moved in. A friend of mine recommended him, and I would happily do the same for others looking for a realtor in Minneapolis. Thanks for a great home buying experience!

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I recently worked with Derek to sell our home, and the entire process was quick and easy for us because of Derek's expertise. He got us well over our asking price, and we sold in one weekend. We moved across the country and were gone during the home showing and most of the escrow process. We felt very comfortable having Derek taking care of the details of the transaction. I would recommend Derek to help you sell your home.

ZillowVERIFIED My previous realtor had retired and I wasn't sure where the turn. I went with Derek via a referral and was very impressed. He did extensive market research and helped me price the property that I was selling at a level that I was very pleased with, helped me put together marketing material, and got it to market. When we received our first offer, he helped me understand all of my options moving forward and after some deliberation we were able take an offer to closing that was well above list and what I was hoping for. Derek did a great job and I would recommend him to my closest friends and family if they were looking for an agent.

ZillowVERIFIED Derek is a great realtor. He was very responsive and patient with us in our home search. He did not try to "sell" us on a house just to get the commission - he actually cared whether we wanted and would benefit from the house we chose. He did a great job of wading through all the extraneous stuff involved in a real estate transaction in order to get us the information we needed to make informed decisions. I feel that his expertise will help someone nail down the right price on their house, whether they are buying or selling it. I would highly recommend choosing him as a realtor!
