So, when I became unavoidably involved in the sale of my late sister's house I, along with my adult children, faced the prospect of finding an agent to help us. I consulted with a real estate-savvy friend, and we all met with two or three interested agents before deciding on DeeDee McCracken. It proved to be the right choice. DeeDee McCracken educated us on the process. She demonstrated an understanding of the uncertainties of the current, somewhat volatile, real estate market and explained the "art" of pricing reflecting the positive (it's a solid house with a pool in a desirable neighborhood) and potentially negative (it lacks a garage) aspects to some buyers. We easily agreed on pricing and she was most helpful in preparing the property for showing. Following her suggestions on the limited repairs needed and her staging of the property led to a well-attended multi-day showing and impressive offers. At this point DeeDee McCracken applied her expertise by sorting through the offers, considering both the offer price and her assessment of the quality of the offer, so that the sale would be completed on the best of all terms.And that's how it ended. It was great working with DeeDee McCracken; I (we) highly recommend her.
