ZillowVERIFIED This is a late review because I wasn't going to write one but then I received a post card about her recent sell. 2016: I was referred to Deb by my mortgage person. I was looking to purchase my first home. Initially Deb was extremely nice, very responsive and knowledgeable. I'm unsure if I overwhelmed her by the amount of houses I wanted to see and/or not making an immediate decision but again its my first house! I can't remember her exact words when we went to see a home but I brought my mother and sibling and she made a comment that didn't sit well with me. I was approved for 180,000 with one loan and 220,000 with another loan. I wasn't interested in spending all that money which she knew but she seemed to be pressuring me to spend what was available. I had no desire to live outside of my means. Anyways, I had taken a weekend to think about what occurred and decided to not work with her anymore. She never responded to my email. Thank You.

She was overly, and constantly concerned with asking if she was the only realtor we were working with (and she was), she was very focused on buying over renting (which ended up being what was best for my family). She repeated numerous times that she was the 23rd best realtor in Berks County, and had an interesting point of view about other realtors and loan officers. We will not be using Deb, and I suggest you don't either. On a positive note, she was responsive to emails and phone calls.

ZillowVERIFIED By far the worse rental experience I ever had. I have rented numerous houses over the years with my German Shepherd as I moved for job opportunities. My dog and I are not destructive and I always received 100% of my security deposit back from each rental property. From the start, Deb and her husband promised me things that they did not deliver on. For example, the parking spot at the rear of the house was a concrete slab on a hill that was falling apart. They said they were going to fix it as it was not safe, but they never did. I also had a fence built for my dog at no charge to them, which they are currently reaping the benefit of as I moved out after living at the property for only a year. Upon vacating, I tried to get ahold of both Deb and her husband through various forms of communication for a month with no response. I gave them a forwarding address of my moms house so they could mail my security deposit. They completely ignored that request as they used the real estate system to look up where I currently lived and taped a note to the front door of the house I had just bought and moved into. No, they did not use the mailbox (standard protocol), they TAPED a note to the front door. The note conveniently included itemized charges that added up to my total security deposit, and therefore I received zero money back. The bogus charges included paint, when I specifically used command strips to hang pictures instead of putting holes in the walls upon their request when I moved in, so charging me for paint makes zero sense. They also charged $200 for interior cleaning. After all my things were out of the house, I spent 3 hours cleaning top to bottom to ensure everything was clean. I am also very OCD and did a thorough cleaning on a weekly basis so I know that house was spotless, and in way better shape than when I moved in (the house was extremely dirty when I moved in). They charged for grass cutting, although it was cut the week before. They charged a random $400 for aEUR~pet damage. As I mentioned from the start, my dog and I are not destructive, he is trained German Shepherd, and I never received any complaint about him, and always received 100% of my security deposits back. They completely took advantage of the fact that I had a dog and used that as a way to get more money. These are the type of people that give realtors a bad name. They over promise, act like they are on your side, but will not hesitate to stab you in the back and take your money. They were extremely unprofessional and had no problem leaving me high and dry. My goal here is to warn people before they conduct business with either Deb or Steve. Ive met nice and reasonable realtors and property owners before, and these people are definitely not one of them.

She was very patient and helpful and maintained great communication throughout the entire process. Deb made sure that all of our questions were answered but most importantly that we understood the process. In addition, Deb did a fantastic job of finding out what we wanted and setting up a customized search for us. We would select properties to visit weekly (or sometimes faster) and she was very flexible about showing us them after hours and on weekends. Deb went above and beyond even well after hours to make sure that every party involved in the process follow through with their part so that we would close the deal on the day we have set. If it wasnt for her hard work and long hours our closing date would have been delayed. Overall, Deb was fantastic and I will recommend her to anyone who is in search of a home.

Deb was insistent that we use her people that she knows for a mortgage, which we were not comfortable with. Every single house that we saw she would tell us that we should make an offer and offer no less than the asking price, or more. I work in the Real Estate field, but do not have my license which is why we were using her. We quickly dumped her and found the best Agent who works for Keller Williams!
