ZillowVERIFIED When we decided to relocate to Wisconsin from Minnesota, we started our research by looking for a realtor in the La Crosse / Onalaska area, not knowing for sure where we should look to buy. Reviews, as well as Dawn's listing & sales history led us to contact her for our first interview of potential agents. The meeting went well, with Dawn first listening to us to hear our needs and wants. This began the discussion of how the process would work, should we choose her as our real estate agent. By the end of the meeting, we concluded that there was no need to research additional candidates. Our reason for choosing Dawn was her ability to take from us, our collection of thoughts, and begin our property search by showing a few homes we were interested in the same day without expecting a commitment from us. This helped to narrow down the most important features for us, and refined our criteria. Dawn showed a great willingness to help in this way, without us feeling like a burden. When we said, "No" to a property, rather than see it as a waste of time, she treated it as a learning experience for us, to sharpen our focus. Through these showings, as well as discussions with Dawn, she suggested we might prefer to purchase a newly-built home, or plan to have one designed and built for us. On a kind of "What-if" suggestion, Dawn showed us a development she felt was suitable for us. It took some time to imagine our future life, but the idea caught on. This put us on the path to our current destination, in our beautiful home in an awesome setting. Dawn referred us to an excellent, high-quality builder. We met together to spec out what we wanted, with which the builder prepared plans and Dawn presented a sales proposal. Upon acceptance of the agreement, a construction plan was developed while we prepared to sell our existing home in Minnesota. Dawn's suggestions during that facet of our transition aided us in conducting a smooth sale of the home, while coordinating the timings between sale of existing and purchase of new. Upon completion of our new home construction, Dawn smoothly and efficiently managed the process for us to complete our purchase, while adhering to the constraints and restrictions of the Corona Virus policies. There were a lot of unknowns in this entire process, but whenever we needed answers or advice, Dawn pleasantly and promptly talked us through each phase. This is the attribute we valued so highly, that such a successful realtor was not difficult to approach, and we never felt like we were taking up her valuable time. She responds immediately, remains professional, and takes the time to completely discuss each issue to our satisfaction. We are now living in our home and feel blessed to have had the professional, yet personable assistance of the Dawn Levandoski Team.

ZillowVERIFIED When we chose Dawn to represent us it was largely based on the positive reviews she received. Sadly, our experience was not so positive. On the good side our house did sell, but it sold for much less than we were led to believe it would sell for, and it didn't sell nearly as fast as we were led to believe. Perhaps we priced it too high, but Dawn didn't encourage us to list it for a lesser amount. Because she was so busy and popular, we asked specifically whether she honestly had time to sell our house especially since we were moving. She assured us that she did have time and would do everything to sell our house. Now we don't know how the average realtor operates, but since we recently bought a home in another state we did know how that realtor operated, and here is where there was a significant difference. Our out of town realtor contacted us regularly (sometimes daily) to keep us in the know. Dawn rarely contacted us first with updates and thoughts. Yes, she always returned our calls/texts promptly, but we even gave her feedback that we'd like to be kept up to date more frequently. She stated she would on more than one occasion, but we still found that it was us initiating contact. This was the most frustrating aspect just not know what was happening. On the bright side once we had an offer things went smoothly, but we did question whether she was truly trying to get us the best offer and negotiate on our behalf. Again, in comparison, our out of town realtor really seemed to work for us trying to get us the best deal and giving us her expert opinion. Dawn was not nearly as forthcoming sharing her expertise. It felt like we truly had to ask specific questions. In conclusion, there were certainly positive aspects of our working relationship with Dawn, and she was always upbeat, but we would not use her again or recommend her to our friends.
