About Dawn Cox

I started my career as a mortgage loan processor back in 1998 and have had a passion for the Real Estate Industry ever since. I endured the crash of 07/08 and during that time I branched out to the title company side of things as a mortgage loan closer, which means I have a vast knowledge of the settlement documents that my clients sign. In 2014 after closing many loans for many Realtors I decided to become one and here I am today. In my opinion this is the best part of the Real Estate Industry. After joining Keller Williams Realty, Sharon and I formed a team in Radford, VA, The Robertson & Cox Real Estate Team and I am in the top 20% of Keller Williams Realty - Roanoke. I can help you buy or sell many types of residential real estate from farms to waterfront to townhomes or condos and things in between. Now that you know my work history here is a little bit about the personal side of me. My mother loved animals, so I always had them in my life. I currently have a miniature horse, the Min, who stands 3 foot tall and has 10 feet + of sass and is so darn cute and I have a 2 year old Shih Tzu pup named Maggie Mae who is full of energy and love. The both of them are my pride and joy. My favorite place to donate is to my local human society. I love classic cars and currently own several of them and I like to attend the local car shows. I love to cook and eat of course, antiquing and boating just to name a few. I also love spending time with my friends and family. I also specialize in VA Loans and love helping my Vets purchase new homes.

Buying a home can be a stressful process and you need a realtor that is there for you every step of the way. Dawn Cox is that realtor! Her years of experience and knowledge shine through at every turn, guiding you through from day one to closing. She is always working in the best interest of her clients and isnt afraid to tell you the honest truth to help you make informed decisions. My wife and I had a tough buying experience; having two contracts fall through due to unforeseen house inspection failures. We got discouraged, but not Dawn. She kept working for us; never stopped and never gave up. In the end, she found us the perfect house and we couldnt be happier! I would recommend Dawn Cox to anyone looking for a home in Southern Maryland and the other areas she represents north of Southern Maryland. We had 20 potential buyers look at our home which sold in 6 weeks! She was tactfully honest with my husband and I about the price we could sell our home for and the work we needed to do for our home to show well. Her experienced professional advice was hard to swallow but sold the house quickly. Once we completed the work she suggested, our house was on the market. While working with her, she was quick to respond to us, patient with all our questions and great to work with. As I said before, I would recommend Dawn Cox to anyone. She's great at her job!
