My husband and I were in a unique situation with our house being on a dead end. We listed our home with other realtors but no one could get it sold. After several disappointments with other realtors, we finally met David and decided to use him. Within a matter of days, our house had a contract! ZillowVERIFIED How much time do you have for me to tell you how freakin awesome Kim Wilkey is?!?! You simply could not ask for a better realtor! She knows her stuff inside and out. Kim is meticulous and focuses down to even the smallest detail which you would be oblivious to but so grateful that she attended to them. She also has superior communication skills. She will over communicate every step of the way and educate you in the process. You will know that you have nothing to worry about other than showing up with a check. On top of her numerous professional skills, Kim is an amazing human being. She and her family are salt of the earth folks that believe in working hard and doing what you say you will. They will do whatever it takes to help others. Kim proved this a million times over for me with this purchase. I had the misfortune of falling on ice in my driveway during the blizzard this year and broke my ankle requiring surgery a few weeks shy of my closing. I was overwhelmed to say the least and Kim jumped right in to rescue me. She immediately called the closing attorney and arranged for me to be closed from home, gave me recommended movers to contact to pack me up & get moved, completed the walk through for me and took pictures of completed repairs and caught a few things that needed to be addressed before closing, she sent me all of these pictures with notes prior to even leaving the home, and when my bank would not allow me to wire funds for closing from home she intervened on my behalf. Let me tell you, Kim does not like to be told aEURoenoaEUR? and she turned the aEURoenoaEUR? from my bank into a yes within minutes through her solid relationships at the bank. She basically took the ball from this wounded player, ran it down the field demolishing all blockers in her path and spiked the ball in the end zone and finished with a victory dance on my behalf. Just believe me when I say you will be in the most capable hands with Kim. I could go on and on but save yourself some time and just call her. You can thank me later! (I like chocolates...LOL).

ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I hired David and his wife to help sell our house in September of 2017. We assumed it would take at least 60-90 days to get a viable offer on our house. We were wrong! Kim helped us to de-clutter and David hired an outstanding photographer to take pictures of the house. The house was only 4 years old, but the photographer took some of the most amazing pictures I have ever seen. Those pics made our house "pop", and we received an a reasonable offer within 3 weeks! David did a great job helping with the negotiations and has also been a great resource for contractors, as we purchased an older home that needed some updating. ZillowVERIFIED David and Kim are the ultimate professionals with great knowledge of the different communities throughout ALL of Hampton Roads since they were raised in Hampton Roads. We first started working with them when we were active duty, and I got orders to Norfolk and we needed a realtor. They have provided us with the knowledge and/or referrals to the different specialists (lenders, attornies, repairmen) in order for us to make educated financial decisions. They genuinely seem to care about their clients. We are currently stationed overseas and they just helped us sell both homes (as stressfree as short sales can be), they were proactive with the buyer's agents/lenders/short sale attorney, and got fair results for all parties! They are hard workers that have a history of being kind, fast responders to emails, and great communicators! We were able to trust them to take the lead, and not have to worry about if our house was getting showing... because we knew if someone was interested and it was priced right it was going to sell with them as our realtors! Both houses sold and closed within realistic neighborhood expectations even as short sales! When house hunting (2008, 2012) Kim was able to read us and listened to what we were saying we wanted or were looking for (mind you, we both wanted different things) and quickly found us our dream home in an area we thought was completely out of our price range! Her negotiating skills and knowledge of the market allowed us to get the home for $20k under asking price! With the short sale of one of our homes, we saved over $50k!!! This is an honest review and testament to our experiences working.
