He went to my home, took a complete set of pictures, and made recommendations as to what renovations would be beneficial to help in attracting buyers for my condo that was quite dated. Dave provided referrals for a contractor, stagers, and cleaners and managed the process of having professional photos and video footage of the home for the listing. Our first and only open house attracted many prospective buyers and we had a full price offer the next day. He advised and guided me through the closing process and was always available and responsive to answer questions and stop by the condo when needed. In a handful of small moments, I didn't feel that Dave understood what I disliked about a few homes but in the end, that did not at all detract from his effectiveness at securing a good deal for our new home. He helped us come up with reasonable offers when we were buying, guided us through setting an optimistic but realistic price when we were selling, and put us in touch with tradespeople to help with various things in all three cases. When buying, he struck a great balance between giving us information and leaving us free to make decisions, e.g. he never pressured us to look at properties that he was listing, or discouraged us from pursuing anything for any dubious reasons.

He explained the process from start to finish; pointed out any potential issues during visits (asbestos-covered pipes, roof conditions, where a builder may have taken short-cuts or something might not be up to code, etc. ), along with rough estimates of what it might take to remedy; and was available constantly throughout the process. Not only did he answer my questions, but he helped guide me through what I didn't even know I should be asking. Together, he, the lawyer, and the mortgage broker (both excellent and recommended by David) completed the closing quickly and painlessly. I hope I don't move again anytime soon, but if I do, I would work with David again!

He was responsive to our questions and concerns, exceedingly savvy about the properties we were viewing, and cheerful, even hilarious, throughout the harrowing process of trying to find a suitable home for our family. His expertise, advice, energy, and insights were crucial to us as we navigated through such a huge transition. But possibly most importantly, he was trustworthy.
