ZillowVERIFIED There are times in life when you heave a HUGE sigh of relief because a massive weight has just been lifted from your shoulders. That's how my partner and I felt after meeting David. Back story: We had tried out a handful of other Coastside realtors and none of them were particularly proactive, nor did they feel like they were "our people" I had just about given up. I figured the coast was just really laid back and none of the realtors had any hustle in them whatsoever. Then I decided just to go on one last Google expedition and see what I came up with. Enter David. DAVID IS SO FRICKING GREAT! I AM SO GLAD I EMAILED HIM. Here is what you need to know...David knows EVERYBODY on the coast. When you're rolling deep with him it's like you have celebrity status. As a result of his coast connections he knows about EVERY SINGLE HOUSE about to come onto the market and he also knows ALL OF THE SECRETS about the houses he took us to. He's basically a magician. He also could intuit what my partner and I needed and found us the PERFECT house in El Granada even though we told him we did not want to live in El Granada. We were so wrong. El Granada is the PERFECT place for us. And David knew it even when we didn't. David was really strong through the negotiation phase, knew the right offer to put on the table, and was extremely proactive through the closing period, including nagging us constantly when we were dragging our feet because we were so busy with work and travel. We're glad he did. We needed someone to keep us on our toes and moving the process forward. Not only was David our realtor, but now he is our friend, and has promised to introduce us to people on the coast So basically he's a realtor AND a match-maker. And a yogi! And a dog rescuer! And when he's having a bad moment he likes to send clown emojis, which I fully appreciate. ZillowVERIFIED David was fantastic to work with throughout the entire process of my partner and my home purchase. We first met when David showed us a property in Half Moon Bay that hed listed. He was so informative and open that we asked him to represent us in putting in an offer. We were dramatically outbid, big surprise, but continued a professional relationship in the prolonged hunt for our home. My partner and I had a very modest budget, for the Bay Area, and were taken through the ropes of our first home purchase by David. He was realistic and honest with us at every turn and even continued working with us once we realized that the East Bay was going to be a better market for our starter home budget. Most importantly for me, David was very patient with our questions, even those outside of his normal wheelhouse, ie. lending, home warranty questions, and inspection results. David was very responsive and never left our questions open ended. We werent in a position to negotiate or under-offer and David kept us on the straight and narrow with the occasional reality check. David set us up with a 6 month home warranty, made sure we had all of the necessary files in electronic format by sending us a usb drive, and re-assured me that if the home wasnt cleaned upon the sellers move-out, he would pay for the cleaning. Overall David made this inevitably stressful process as smooth as possible for us. We will absolutely be recommending him to friends and family and contacting him again should our needs change.

It took about 1 month of constant phone calls on my part, early morning and late night visits to many many homes up and down the coast to help find us the perfect fit for what we wanted. He patiently waited for me to say this is the house I wanted. His approach to the sale was not what one would expect a realtor to do. He would see a house and instead of trying to upswell it if it wasn't a match he would let me know that this property was not what we were looking for and let's start looking again.
