I could not even imagine a better experience - and house hunting during the pandemic and this ridiculous market was difficult! Kris was our choice because we really felt that she had our goals as her goals and never once did we feel like she was trying to rush us or talk us into a home just to make a sale. She was always honest about the homes and knowledgeable about the quality of homes and the neighborhoods. She was extremely knowledgeable about the process of putting in offers and managing the process once our offer was accepted. Kris was also VERY responsive to my contacts and texts, even when really early or really late and it was always appreciated. She not only got us showings of home within an hour or so of contacting but set up showings of homes that weren't posted yet. Lastly, Kris was a true friend during the process and gave us memorable gifts after we closed on our home. We could not be happier with our new home and it's because Kris was such an asset in finding the perfect home to start our marriage.

ZillowVERIFIED We decided to put our home for sale in late March of 2016. We called Dave and Kris Berry to list our home and to begin the search for a new one. I knew Dave from a couple of years ago, when we looked at a couple of properties but we weren't quite ready to make a move at that time. Our house was listed on 04/07/16, we had an open house that next Sunday, we had several showings that week as well. We had 2 offers on our house on 04/15/16. We accepted one of the offers on that day. Wow!, we knew Dave and Kris were very good, but it was much quicker than we anticipated. We then began the search for a new home. We wanted new construction, we needed 5 bedrooms and 3 baths with a finished basement, Dave got us together with a builder with an existing home being built and we had them finish the basement. Everything timed out great and we were in our new home on 05/27/16. I know that all real estate stories dont go so smoothly, so we will just say this: if you list your home with Dave and Kris, " be ready to move" They are great to deal with. Their knowledge of the market and attention to detail are second to none. We are thrilled with the performance of the Dave Berry Realty Team, and we give them our highest reccomendation.

This time, we were not even planning on moving but fell in love with a home and decided to call Dave to see if it was possible. I really didn't expect that a deal would be possible. The asking price for the home we wanted was far higher than we were willing to spend. And the thought of selling our house seemed a greater challenge because the homes on either side of us we already for sale and had been sitting on the market for months. Dave helped us with the offer, subject to the sale of our home and seller's accepted our very low offer. Then, the next day he listed and sold our home for more money than we expected to receive. ZillowVERIFIED I contacted Dave and the Berry Real Estate Team on a Wednesday as I needed to sell my home fast. Kris stopped by on Wednesday afternoon to evaluate what needed to be done to stage the home, as we were leaving for vacation on Friday. We signed paperwork on Thursday and turned over our home on Friday to have all the pictures taken so as the home could be properly marketed on-line. With an open house set for Sunday. What happened shocked us. We had multiple offers come in, and by Monday evening had reached an agreement with our buyers. I gave Dave instructions to "work his magic". The experience was amazing. He has an excellent understanding of the market and what a home is worth and how well it we'll sell in the future. When we sold our home he and his wife helped us stage and price it so it would sell quickly and we could take possession of our new home. It sold the first day on the market! Other similarly priced homes in the neighborhood sat on the market for months. He helped us negotiate a price on our new home well under the list price. He was helpful as I lived in Dubuque so had to arrange viewings and sometimes change times or try to make them with little notice. Dave would ma.ke appointments when I could get down and would also try to do so if I came down at the last minute or had to change plans. He was very patient as I began looking in April and did not finalize until Sept. as I wanted to look at a lot of properties and be sure of my decision. He even came to Dubuque with an offer at one point.I feel that Dave helped guide me with information about locations and properties so I could make a more informed decision.
