ZillowVERIFIED Recently we sold our home in LaCrosse, WI. and Dan Stacey and his team handled our transaction. When we made the decision to sell our home we called three Realtors from three different agencies to come over and to prepare a market analysis of our home and a complete market overview which was to include the contiguous towns and cities. We made the appointments. When we called the first Realtor he told us that he was a past president of the Realtors Association which gave us a degree of comfort because we thought that anyone who was a past president of the Realtors Association must know what they were doing. With this much experience we wondered if we really needed to call anyone else but we decided to call the other two Realtors. The second Realtor we phoned mentioned that he was a new agent and he was eager to help us. A little skeptical we made the appointment. The last person we contacted was Dan Stacey. The first appointment we had was with the past president of the Realtors Association. The appointment was set for 1:00 pm. He arrived at 3:10 pm without a phone call to tell us he was going to be late. His market analysis of our home and his complete market overview consisted of one piece of paper that contained addresses of homes and their sale prices, how long they were on the market and what their original asking prices were. The second appointment was with the agent that was new to the real estate business. He arrived on time but didn't bring any paperwork with him. The third agent was Dan Stacey. Dan and one of his team members arrived fifteen minutes early and presented a comprehensive market analysis of our home and a detailed market overview. His preparation was excellent and professional. There wasn't a doubt in our mind that we had found the Realtor that was going to help us sell our home. But things didn't turn out the way we had anticipated. The day after we met with Dan we received a postcard in the mail from someone who's children went to the same school as our children and we knew her through their interaction. She was a part time agent. To this day we cannot understand why we decided to have her as our Realtor. We canceled the listing with her after 40 days. We called Dan back and explained what had happened. He said he would be happy to help us but his recommendation was to postpone putting the home on the market until the holiday season was over and put it on the market in early spring. We followed his advice. We listed our home in early spring and within 30 days we had three offers on our home that all came on the same day. To say that we recommend Dan Stacey and his team is an understatement. In our opinion there is no one that can surpass everything that he did to help us sell our home. He is an outstanding Realtor and we are grateful and thankful that he was there for us when we needed him.
