I have been searching for a home for over two years and have had multiple deals fell through; which led me to Dan. In the current housing market the houses are selling so fast, it is very challenging to even have the opportunity to make an offer. Dan understands how time sensitive it is to submit an offer and he was very prompt in doing so. Once the offer was accepted, I was shocked by how smooth the entire process went. With the help of Dan and his operations coordinator Lauren, it was a very stress free closing. I have heard many stories of stressful closings, however, I cannot relate. I am from out of state, so Dan and Lauren provided me with contacts to reach out to for an attorney and mortgage company. They were open and willing to answer my many questions regarding how to maintain a septic tank, drilled well and propane gas; exceeding their responsibilities. I am a guarded person but I put my faith and trust in Dan and allowed him to guide this entire process, which was the best decision I could have made. Not only was he always polite and respectful, he was honest and ultimately was successful with closing the deal. I am blown away with how easy this process was to buy a house, I still find it surreal. This was anincredibly stress free experience and it all started and ended with Dan. I highly recommend him as your realtor as well as recommend to follow his guidance and referrals. Everyone that he referred me to I was very happy with. ZillowVERIFIED Having come from a very horrid situation of losing my house in California wildfire, we moved to Vermont. I used google and sent out "feelers" to local real estate agents. Dan responded so fast I never got another notice out. *laughs* He sent out a list of like 120 homes, and I narrowed it down to 5. One day was all we took! Third home and I was sold. Dan figured out what we wanted, and stayed happily in our budget. He answered all my silly questions, even if he was at a school event. I was very impressed. Definitely not expecting anyone to answer that fast, but he always did. I recommend Dan to anyone looking for a great realtor!!

Dan did a great job of providing useful information on the different home locations I was looking at. Dan was also amazing with staying connected. Dan would return calls or emails right away. We talked for a few minutes about what we were in need of and within a couple hours he sent us some listings. We let him know which ones we were interested in and he had showings set up 2 days later. Once we found what we wanted, he had an offer in which was a lower price than asking, and in less than a week we had an acceptance. He was extremely proficient in the negotiation and closing process and truly cared about getting us into a new home. ZillowVERIFIED If you are looking to buy a house in Vermont then Dan Preston is the realtor you want to help you. He knows Vermont and he knows real estate. We didn't know what area we wanted to buy in and he patiently took us all over to see different houses in different areas. Over time he helped us narrow our criteria and our search until we found the perfect home for us. During the loan process he answered all of our questions and gave us recommendations for resourses.
