Let me start by echoing what my clients have said: "Dan was there for us as a trusted advisor to make sense of it all, in the midst of a real estate market that no one could have predicted. I don't know where we'd be without his knowledge and expertise." Dear Mr. or Mrs. future client: When I'm entrusted to list and market your home for sale, help you find your next home, or both, my job is to not only negotiate and secure your best outcome, It's to make sure you understand every facet of the buy/sell experience along the way. As a Real Estate Specialist, I help you navigate the most personal sale/purchase transaction you'll ever experience. It all starts with a conversation where trust is established, and by actually listening to your wants and needs, I make sure that all steps forward lead to your success. I'm looking forward to speaking with you! Dan

FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
The best advice I can give is, 1. Don't go it alone. Use an agent you trust has your best interest at heart. and 2. TRUST YOUR GUT! If you have a sneaking suspicion or a bad vibe, asking good questions and trusting your gut never fails!
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
Put your best foot forward and don't overthink it. Rule #1.. Lead with CURB APPEAL and CLEAN. Follow with PAINT. Spend $ on fixing what is broken, dirty, or unsafe. NOT ON RENOVATIONS! Remember, you're selling not staying!! Lastly, give your buyers credit for having VISION. Don't feel like you need to guess at their creativity. Let it go! :-)
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
All types. First timers to old timers, and everyone in between. People that have DIY skills, and those that don't know which end of a paintbrush to hold. People with experience. People with none. The best experiences are with the ones where there is mutual trust. Those people have become dear friends, and repeat clients. Mainly because they can't wait to introduce the people they care about to me. They know they'll be well taken care of.
In each case, I've learned something from each one. Hopefully I've left them with some knowledge, and some smiles along the way.
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
I love it when things go according to plan!! I encouraged my sellers to trust the process. They had insisted originally that we list their home way too high. Eventually they wanted answers as to why it wasn't selling. They then took my original advice, dropped to what the market had told us, and quickly sold. But the best part was, it happened exactly the way we discussed. Because neighborhood values had dropped a bit, I told them we needed an out of town buyer that loved their home and could buy via cash (if possible) to help alleviate fears of a short appraisal. Bing bang boom... That's exactly what we got within a few days of the price adjustment. They're now loving life at their Senior Community dream home in Florida. Hee Haw!! (IYKYK) :-)
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
A friend encouraged me to get into Real Estate long before I did. He saw something in me I did not fully realize... That I needed to branch into Real Estate because I am a people person destined to serve the needs of others. He was so right. That's why I love what I do. Not until I got into real estate did I realize what my dream "job" was. Because it's not a job. It's my passion.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
When I combined my experience buying, selling and fixing up homes with a life long career in home improvement, decorating and home repairs, combined with an eye for detail and a sales career as an expert negotiator closing multi-million dollar deals, YES! I'd say there is a wealth of knowledge in this guy's brain.

Dan was able to help me get several thousand dollars in concessions to make a deal work after the mortgage company made some last-minute changes to their offer, and I would not have been able to buy without him. He will be there to help when you ask throughout the process, and he is willing to explain to a first time home buyer how the process works and connect you with experts you need along the way like a

When Dan first contacted us, he was very professional, responsive, and showed expertise in all aspects of the trade. He provided us with information upfront about the process the seller and buyer would go through, to keep us well informed. He also provided us with information about the market, the area, and the house construction and features. Dan was always available during the process and offered alternatives where needed. I highly recommend Dan.
